It's not a completely new game, just formatted differently. Probably without the development of statistics and the whole sandbox environment.

I have clearly said what content is been rolled out in the game-release posts.. I am adding back in 3 to 4 years of content so I want to do this right. Also part of the "remake" is to compress the story-lines and add in more filler to make the game less "empty".

Between the images and animations there is nearly 14,000+ renders. Out of that there is about 4,000+ renders which are new to the 015.50 release which are the continued story for Liza and Susan and the continued story-line for Jenny. This gutting and reload is a lot faster as I can add back in the old content then I can fix,remove or remake it.
The small release was to test the new version of Renpy and also test adding new content and make sure it does not break anything (which it did), imagine if I included all the game files of about 6 or 7GB and you had to redown that 2 or 3 times.

Yeah, this game is in serious need of a proper refactoring and streamlining. But so does the dev. Why can't he simply leave old content alone and move forward to new one...? Is that so hard?

Will we have to download older versions to replay the old scenes?
Will we never get final versions, only test ones with bugs and content voids?
For how long will he drag this no real storyline progression...? At least RAInces made an effort...

To start completely over, he would have to create the entire story from scratch, and he is not capable of that. As I wrote, he is an ordinary franchisee who only adds his own loose ideas. The game definitely needed a makeover, but it should have been done two years ago. Zip preferred to cash in, and now he can do it for another year by creating a remake, and no one will be able to accuse him of not releasing 'updates'

I was hoping to be able to view the previous scenes in the gallery without having to open a previous version of the game. The old grayed out scenes should have been removed since this is a completely new game.

My advice is to keep the old version somewhere, because this new "version" could take years to reach roughly the same level as now (with small "improvements"!)...

It's best to ignore this game altogether and wait for a creator who has time, ideas, knowledge and respects his subscribers. However, what you will get during this year will be the same content only formatted differently plus 5-6 new scenes because that's more or less how much Zip has been creating in recent years.

Percebo mas acho que a saida para isto era muito facil: novo capitulo.

And I agree, he has no plan for the game, just rendering according to his mood and fickle moments of "inspiration". So why doesn't he leave old content as is, wrapping it up as part/chapter 1 and move on to a new one with his new ideas and approach? Trimming the old content and code I understand, remaking old renders and scenes not so much. It makes no sense.

part 1 - old content till 0.15.490 (keeping it available for the nostalgic players)
part 2 - 0.15.491 - upcoming content of 0.15.50 and more
part 3 - future content (2030)
part 4 - ... (2070)
