0.5 just released. I pulled two all-nighters to get it finished, but after testing I realized how rough some of the early chapters looked (especially chapter 2 ). So I ended up spending the whole weekend (and nights) updating over 300 passages.
Now I’m working on updating 0.42 as well, so it gets the same improvements plus a few features that were originally meant for 0.5 but will make the early chapters more fun too.
The public release will drop a bit later today, and honestly… after doing so many passages on zero sleep, I’d be shocked if there aren’t a few bugs lurking around .
If you find any as always, let me know and I'll fix them asap.

I restarted to see what little bits had changed, but also because of the "Soul Forge Config Button" but I can't find this in the top-right... which page is it supposed to be on? The main one just says "active character" in the top right, and I can't find it on a config page. Had to play further.
Surprised there was no night activities on the goblin day. Further I went seems it's just kinda random if you get stuff to do or not, that whole having to shake off blue-boy to stop him creeping thing didn't seem to come up again.
I'd like it if the ginger gal's stuff wasn't always just feet and sweat or whatever, I want to try to move the MCs kinks more along the being interest in her muscles/voyeurism/slutty kinda route. If you choose the seduction route it just skips the scene rather than having an alternative.
Even with the massages it's always feet for fetish stuff or nothing, why can't he be groping them, or when massaging their butt/thighs grazing against their holes and stuff. The more content there is the more it seems real focused on feet stuff.
This line made me hopeful though: But imagine the delicious irony if she suddenly sprouted something decidedly masculine instead! I thought I mighta somehow missed the choice as she got more slender initially, but glad it came later, will be interested to see how this is handled with the other characters.
Was interesting to get some more of the demons backstory/character development. I was surprised that blue-boy was just as much a victim of the girl's experiments as the others, though he kinda deserves worse (but I guess gets a pass because he was a kid).
Was the first round of night "mischief" always going to have locks on everyone? Or was there a route to make people susceptible enough to do things? It didn't come up again so not sure if it was just to show might might come later down the line.
I wonder if that old OP dude is gonna start on the ladies too now, as blue-boy isn't really an anagonist.
I still can't remember anyone's names, might be nice to get to rename them all to ones that'd match what you'd naturally think they'd be called.
Don't misunderstand the above, I really enjoyed reading through the new story. Game is certainly one of the most promising new ones I've played, and I can't wait for it to get deeper into the corruptiony stuff. I was really impressed with the amount of new stuff given I didn't feel like it was that long ago I'd last played either.
if i read it right some earlier passages are tuned up so is it worth to restart? and i think i will wait for 0.5 and if that game improves as much as id did till now we will see each other on patreon
The game does switch POVs between male and female characters. A lot of important decisions are made from Nimeria’s perspective, and those influence the story just as much, sometimes even more, than the MC’s choices. That’s why both Male and Female Protagonist tags are applied.
Additionally the MC can be feminized and there are already scenes in the game where he is temporarily female (dream sequences).

Regarding Seryk creeping during activities. It's mostly removed if you skip NTR, since I rather went the route to not bother the player too much with it if they aren't interested in it.
0.5 has a looong hump scene with Serin (ginger girl), and you can take a more dominant position at the end too. And yes, she will become a futa if you chose her transformation.
Mariel has a breast groping scene too during massage in 0.5 too.
Thalor will start to go for the girls too but not in a full dominant way either. For that we will have Sora (catboy femboy) who will be extremely dominant (new character who is introduced first time in 0.5 too). He will go for all girls and the MC and he already seems like the new community favorite.
Gairos (the old OP guy) won't go for the girls (nor guys) though.

Mostly just the UI was tuned up for better readability and the fight against Seryk was a bit rewritten to understand the MCs thoughts when attacking him. But it's not worth to replay it if you already know the story.
Yeah, I originally wanted to put it on itch.io, but they cap uploads at 200 MB. I even asked them to raise the limit (they sometimes do for certain projects), but unfortunately my request was declined. Maybe in the future I’ll just host it on my own server instead.
