He’s naturally more submissive by design, but there will gradually be more dominant scenes as the story progresses. It's not really necessary to lower his submission stat. Fetish stats only influence resistance chances during quickrolls and will start affecting combat abilities in 0.7. They don’t decide which scenes you’ll get, though. Those are controlled by different internal variables that you can track in the "Special Values" section of the diary menu.

You can actually build both dominant and submissive traits at the same time. There are a few scenes that raise dominance too (just fewer compared to the submissive ones of course).

As for his personality. He's not the type to willingly cheat on Liora at this stage. Most other characters will be the ones trying to seduce or corrupt him. Over time, as he gains more experience (whether through Liora or others), he'll start acting more willingly and with that, become more assertive.

This approach for scenes is also needed so players aren't forced into content they're uncomfortable with. Someone who only plays gay content or only straight content will naturally end up with fewer fetish values than someone who plays everything.

Here's a screenshot from one of my test runs after a full playthrough, dominance reached level 34 by the end, which is pretty high.

There's an NTR system implemented in 0.7 where scenes between Liora and Seryk can trigger automatically when time advances. You can play a short mini game to stop the scene from happening. The more attraction between them and the lower the attraction to the MC, the higher the chance and the harder the mini game.
Other characters will be added to the system in the future as well.

It will most likely be a shop item or Talent and won't be too hard to obtain.

Unlike most other games where once NTR is triggered you’re forced to just watch your love interest get taken by others, what if this one let the player fight to win them back? Depending on the results of a mini-game, the MC could take actions that make the love interests realize their mistakes and return, even if they’ve already started NTR events behind the MC’s back.

Edit: Just curious about a few more things — are there cases where NTR is unavoidable no matter what the player does, or can it always potentially be prevented if you try hard enough? Also, will love interests ever show real internal conflict when tempted, like struggling with their feelings or desires, or is it mostly determined by game mechanics?

Bonds Defiled The Soul Forge might be bugged such that it will not persist any modifications. (v0.65 in Firefox on Linux) Clicking "Go Back" from the Soul Forge appears to work fine, but clicking "Return" to exit the config menus appears to refund the gold spent and reset corruptions to pre-modification values. This happens on both entry paths of left-hand "Tools & Diaries -> Tools -> Soul Forge" or right-hand "Character Diaries -> Tools -> Soul Forge".

edit: Is it possible to increase the level of a fetish in the Soul Forge? For example, if I have "Breast Fixation (Lv.2)" then either the RNG on reroll is unkind or it appears impossible to roll another "Breast Fixation" to level it up to Lv.3. Is this an (un)intentional uniqueness constraint, bug, or can levels only be gained during a corrupting event?

The first one ahould have been fixed with one of the recent updates.
2nd isn't a bug and can only be obtained with another corruption event.
