Oh Vicaros, do you know if I was mistaken on the name switching back? Would be nice to hear if I have to start a new save or not.

More people have reported on that, but we didn't find where the problem was. Nevertheless, we currently organize and untangle the code, along with adding the extra content, so we hope the name switching problem will not persist in the next update. Your report was actually very helpful, thanks!
