There is nothing to be gained from engaging with him as if he were a good-faith actor, and at this point, I suspect few people here want to.

ETA: Bones has an active account here at f95Zone. He isn't banned, and I suspect he even reads this thread from time to time. He chose to stop posting here, because he didn't like it when other posters tried to talk about their concerns with him. Any lack of engagement with those concerns is on him.

As I said before, you should go to his Discord since he isn't even here, explain to him all your concerns, you are not gonna be banned if you don't start insulting people there, trust me, he don't read anything from this site. Sometimes it seems like this thread is turning into one of those Trauma Talk Groups. Talking excessively about development and stuff is supposed to be against the Rules, but here we are.

Repeating what you said before changes nothing. Bones' discord has nothing that I want, nor are there any issues I could bring up there that he is not already aware of. Why would I want to beat a long-dead horse simply to engage with a liar?

I do not trust you, and strongly suspect that Bones does, in fact, read this site, and this thread in particular.

Thing is, he had quite a bit of money to help him along that. Money that other people facing the same issues just don't have and still have to trudge along.

He definitely doesn't want to quit. Getting money that is. So he's setting everyone who continues to give him money as suckers:

Sure "if you're mad about the delays, stop donating." Right. Thing is, he doesn't want people to stop donating, but he wants to have a post he can fall back upon when people call him out on the lack of updates.

There's one thing that he hasn't apologized for, however, and you should definitely note this: He did not apologize for lying. He lied through his teeth about his odyssey with kidney stones.
Did he get them? Sure, it's possible. I'm not going to deny that it's a possibility.
Are kidney stones pleasant? Of course not. You try to get rid of them asap.
Can you live with kidney stones? You can, but it's painful and you want to schedule getting rid of them asap.
Did he get rid of those kidney stones asap? You can bet he did.
And then he lied that he still has them, but somehow is still trying to work despite them and apparently it's not the only thing that he's preoccupied with.

THAT is the big issue. But hey, two days later he posted an update and all is well!

Or not necessarily. He got motivated and will come back with a vengeance... But that's as non-committal as you can get while being so gushing with optimism at the same time.

When he misses a couple more release dates, he'll just fall back to the first post and defend himself and say that he never actually intended to continue.

Don't get me wrong. I love this game. I'd love for it to continue. I'm just not getting my hopes up.

Dude... are you paying him? If so, just cancel your subscription and that's all.

Ngl his subscribestar being deleted/removed or taken down is probably the final nail in the coffin for this project.
There was a small hint of maybe an tiny update in the future but I think its joever now.

It means that the answer to your question is: Bones already said that his page still exists, but he is figuring out why it was set to private.
