Since most ppl, like me, don't even count that as an update cuz again, no content, it's 2 years since the last real update (real content and not plceholders/reworks).
Even Bones couldn't bring himself to call it a full update; he called it things like "half-update" and "first part" and said the second part was to come out a couple weeks later.

The Update don't have the amount of content it was intended to have, but the content it have is complete, it have the full event of Lucile and Fluffs.
"Exceptional" is a strong word, but the game is enjoyable for what it is at the moment.
It had so much potential, I love the characters animations sex scenes dialogues artstyle even the animals were cool, I was excited to see a prequel about Doyle after seeing his mom and sister but it turns out in another lost gem...
Ikr, i too loved it a lot when i discovered it and was excited to see stuff added bit by bit although rarely. Then the flow stopped. Which is sad, because there are still a lot of things i wanted to see. Like whether or not MC's family would be possessed too or the third event with velvet. Sadly, lots of stuff has potential, the prob is in the execution. Or in this case, the lack thereof...
