Nope.so... mia state is not implemented yet?
I get it, yet I still can't just take it lying down. Shitheads posting in all threads going "Urrr Duuur All Game Dev Scamming Brrrrr" makes me want to give them the lovely Christmas gift of a swift kick to the balls. Pretty much every time, they know jack shit about game making but pretend they know all of it, for the sole reason of trying to destroy projects. Not to eliminate rivals, mind you. No. They couldn't make shit themselves. Just to be disruptive and destructive, because it's they only way they get it up for they daughter-sister.Ok, this comment ended up longer (and girthier) than expected, so for convenience, gonna put a spoiler on that bitch.

Everyone can have his opinion but when you attack people and insult them for stating their opinion, you are still in the wrong. There are hundreds no even thousands of similar indie games that are comparable to Bones tales and 95% of those games have a faster development cycle than this game with bigger updates than bones tales and every 2-3 months. One small update with barely any content every 6-9 months is not considered fast nor is it considered average or standard when it comes to the game making industry. Whole games with its own written engine were developed by single developers faster than bones tales with its rpg maker engine till now. Good example is Stardew Valley where Barone programed the whole game from scratch in 4 1/2 years. Where he made his own art, programmed the game engine from ground up with C#, drew every single asset single handedly instead of just using rpg maker assets, made the music and literally everything by himself and the game had a 100 times more content as well. Now look at Bones Tales where the rpg maker engine was already written, background assets already from rpg maker available, music not made for the game and only characters and story needs to be made and still is already in the making for 3 1/2 years and will with current development progress take another 4-5 years to finish. Would have Barone developed his game at the same speed, it would have taken him 40-50 years.I get it, yet I still can't just take it lying down. And that pisses me off especially when it's directed toward devs who not only make a good project, but put work into it (instead of slapping out yet another HTML-Real-Life-Porn game with the most gonzo-ey of scenario), all the while having less time to work on said game than other devs who could quit their job and flaunting to do so.
Those people are shitheads and I'm not about to stop slapping them back for their underserved bullshit.
They want to shit on a dev that deserve it ? There's quite a few of those.
The thing is, I agree with you but you have to realize those are the same devs that ruined it for majority of everyone else. I agree people should be able to spend their money how they want, but also you can't get mad at the people that are questioning if the dev is being 100%. No need to drop names but we've seen countless times where games get abandoned or release dates get "pushed back" as if they aren't already done to collect more money and that ruins it for other devs who actually need the support to do a project that's actually worth the money. They want to shit on a dev that deserve it ? That's where I can immediatly stop you. This isn't an "industry". Big wigs of the indie scene like Stardew's devs and the like, yeah, those level basically sprouted an "indie industry", sure. But small teams -and not even that, most often they are pretty much singular people with an artist comisionned to the side- that make smut games like those aren't anywhere near the level to be qualified as an "industry", nor can they be compared to one another. They don't make the same amount of money, don't get the same amount of work per hour, etc. There are hundreds no even thousands of similar indie games that are comparable to Bones tales and 95% of those games have a faster development cycle than this game with bigger updates than bones tales and every 2-3 months. There is a way of stating an opinion. Saying "I think the dev could be faster with updates" or "The delays are pretty long for what little each update gives" is an opinion. The amount of people I see going from thread to thread saying "dev is scamming people, dev hides lots of update done to milk money, dev is bad" isn't stating an opinion. It's attacking someone livelyhood and/or passion project (depending on the case) for no other reason that attacking something and be disruptive/desctructive.So no, people just saying what they think and who are theoretically even correct are not shitheads for doing so. Keep your opinion to yourself if you can`t express it without insulting others just because they aren`t riding on your horse. Arguing is fine but you are constantly below the belt with your comments and that is what I consider childish and dumb.
I didn't say this was the normal speed of game development. I said every dev of smut game has a different situation and, therefore, different amount of time availiable to work on said game, as well as not all of them having a team to work on their game.If you say they are in the wrong and the game development is in your opinion normal speed then that is fine and your opinion
The thing is, I'm not mad at those who question things. I'm mad at those that go around spreading bullshit baseless accusation like every single dev under the pixelated sun is scamming people for a quick thousands of dollars for no update and imply a game could be completed in a month. The thing is, I agree with you but you have to realize those are the same devs that ruined it for majority of everyone else. So, yeah you're right in a sense but if we all had that same mentality of "let's just keep on waiting and not question where the money is going to." You will see a lot more cash-grab games with no backing.
And that's not even a hit to bones or any other dev but those devs that "deserve" the hate also has the most support by the people that feel like it's fine to get milked for half a year for 5 minutes of content when it was worked on for a few weeks.
So I take it that you know everything there is to know about Bones' personal life then. You know and see that he's sitting on his ass watching his bank account grows laughing like a freaking Hutt while sipping on the tears of frustrated backers.keep bitching about supporting bones, ill keep coming here to remark that our used-to-be-a-good-doctor-bones is happy with working on a MINIMUM effort update up to six ( or way more) months updates and people keep spreading their ass to support him.

It's like comparing your local school team to the NFL.

Now yes, my wording was shit. That I'll admit. I'm not in the right mental space to be nice with people I consider aren't deserving it. One could argue I shouldn't post anything then, but yet again, those people aren't holding back on their baseless accusations either.

Like I mentionned earlier, people can have a negative opinion without being shitheads about it. It's a matter of how it's put out.
So I take it that you know everything there is to know about Bones' personal life then. You know and see that he's sitting on his ass watching his bank account grows laughing like a freaking Hutt while sipping on the tears of frustrated backers.
It's always the same. You're quick to throw that "it's obvious" but don't give a flying fuck about the fact that the dev is a human being with their potentiel own problems. After all, you want your content, so why care about anything else, right ?
Oh and before you call me white knighting for my hero that I support wholeheartedly or something : I've never put a single cent in any campaign. The difference is that I know a lot of devs start simply because they have an idea they want to work on, and if that idea can help them pay the bills, the better. I get it, because I'd do the same if my skillset went farther than just writting. Most of the time, they put ours of their free time into something other feel entitled to. Time they could choose to do other stuff, like spend with their family, friend, play other games, learn a skill, etc. Hell, some of them even actually take fucking courses to make their game better, courses that aren't always free.
But you clearly showed you have a hard time understanding that someone else work and efforts should be rewarded, and they shouldn't be expecting to work for free. I'd go so far as to presume you might be american, since that mindset seems very common out there. So yeah, your hero Zel might be amazing for not asking a single cent for what he does. I'm not debating that. But don't go around implying all devs should be the same but don't because they're greedy and should work for free or for "exposure".
There's no greater insult to a creative person that say their work shouldn't be rewarded.
You are aware that Barone programmed Stardew Valley completely alone? He didn`t even hire an artist or anything, he made the music, the art, the story, the pogramming everything alone. A one person project without any funding and it was his first game ever made. He started Stardew Valley after he got his university degree because he couldn`t find another job and that was his way to hone his programming skills. Barone just planted his ass on his chair and programmed from his own home the whole game. That is why I used this game specifically as an example. That's where I can immediatly stop you. "All your base are belong to us" is how it goesi am just waiting and i hope there is no one going to get in the mc's way. to qout an old saying all your bases be long to us lol. i think that was how it went.
Wow. So that makes my whole argument totally false and impossible because I happened to chose the one wrong example ? So much to "bigwigs of the industry" and "small teams".
See, that's stating an opinion. "I suspect", "I think", "I wonder if". Not "dev bad dev scam all bash dev and piss on game because me mad". You don't put your opinion as an universal fact. You state it as what you alone think without putting it out as something that is "obviously true" just because you post about it.That is why I suspect when looking at Bones Tales in comparison to other one man indie developers, that the dev stretches the game progress on purpose to keep cashing in that sweet monthly subscriber money while doing very little work for it. Because when the game is done, people will stop subscribing. I could be wrong and I don`t want to badmouth any people without being 100% sure and that is why I only say "suspect" with reservation, but that slow of a progress needs a reason beside "Game making is such a long and hard progress". Yeah it is a long and hard progress, but not so long to not finish an rpg maker game the like of Bones Tales in over 3 years.
And all that above is just "my" opinion.
All your female belong to horse :^vAll bases belong to Doggo!!! ^^ View attachment 1505704
don't NTR the dog! ... hahahaha ^^ But i like the way you thinkAll your female belong to horse :^v
I do really hope Bones is doing good during pandemic, and hes fine and not having any personal issue that makes him delay the game, but he used to update frequently before patreon incest thing... after that was finished he made even more money per month.... and when all that begun he even said that "becuase of patreon thing im not getting enough money to continue"Wow. So that makes my whole argument totally false and impossible because I happened to chose the one wrong example ? Learn to read between the lines.

That's an opinion that can be respected.
I disagree, as I think not all dev for those types of games have an equal base of skill/time/motivation and such (espcially during a two years pandemic which doesn't seem like it's gonna end anytime soon), and I also enjoy the game enough that I hope it's just a matter of those factors. I might be wrong, you might be right. But you stating your opinion this way makes me want to respect that easier than those who come screaming like fucking doomsday prophets.
Loss of motivation, maybe ? A two year pandemic is a rough thing to do, and if the guy lives in Chile, the pandemic might not have been handled there as well as other countries (I have no clue what they did there). I'm in one of the luckier countries and still we've seen the amount of people falling into depression skyrocket since last year. So when you're already affected by that, getting smashed by Patreon with the incest thing is bound to worsen the blow.I do really hope Bones is doing good during pandemic, and hes fine and not having any personal issue that makes him delay the game, but he used to update frequently before patreon incest thing... after that was finished he made even more money per month.... and when all that begun he even said that "becuase of patreon thing im not getting enough money to continue"
Now he has it, he has even more than before, even if he is having a personal issues.... what personal issue is taking him 2 years to fix and not even say a word? and about the pandemic, ive been working from home this whole pandemic, earning 500$ a month in south america... Thats a lot of money and really has been a bleesing for me this whole pandemic thing.
They guy is earning around 3k dollars a month IN CHILE, he is working from home, does he have any money need that cant be solved from home or that could make him slow down his FULL TIME JOB (as he said in patreon/subscriberstar) that The manor become to him?
If you think in one reason that is slowing him down besides of course, streching updates time just to earn more money i would like to hear it.
I know hes not even giving us his 25% on this for what he is earning out of this, and he used to give us his 100% when he was not earning that much.... I would like to see him comeback to that, might that be that difficult with 3k per month support?
Still ill come around every now and then just to see is this becomes another yanderedev 10 years of developing a 20% of a game
