i just finished rewatching legend of korra completely today, and man i feel so sad and cozy at the same time. it's like something really close to me just quietly slipped away. that last scene where korra turns to asami and says, “wanna sit with me for a minute? i’m not ready to get back to the party just yet.” really hit me. i’ve been watching lok for a couple of months now, and finally reaching the end today felt heavy. the background music during that scene made it even cozier, it almost felt like it was hugging me goodbye t-t

it’s genuinely one of the best endings to a show i’ve seen. this kind of feeling always shows up when i finish something that were a part of my childhood/past. like a month ago, i rewatched all the harry potter movies and when they ended i felt the same way... like someone had just turned off the lights in a place i loved. experiences like these make me appreciate life more. they remind me there’s so much to explore out there, and they help me remember to be a better person
