Which version number do you currently have and does the screen stay black if you start a new game?

I'm trying to find a gift for Ester, but I can't seem to find anything. Do I have to craft it? Also, some of my companions don't show up at the tavern Bordeaux Black, and some of the summoned girls don't.

Ester's gift can be found in the prison, behind the door that only Ingrid can open.

Back to the game after a while, there is any patch or update to fix the talents issue in the free version? Some talents like gathering and bloodlust do not work like intended.
