wont it be easier to make scenes related to play the same art? i mean you could make for example moms scene can be done from both perspectives just by a single animation just loading different text and could use more generic bodies to lower the art time development, also you could instead of focusing on making the animations for every scene could make simple static image for the side plots or not main content, and focus only on the animations for the main plot, also could re-use interactions for recurring scenes, sorry i just love the plot of this game.

In the Character menu, you can flag cheats on with a simple checkmark to edit resources, relationship values, and give yourself XP, which will let you basically play through the whole game while skipping any grinding parts that aren't "do this scene several times to progress".

Why would you work your ass off, if you get paid every month as long as you show some progress, no matter how little of it?
Sometimes all you have to do is to make bunch of worthless promises and the train continue, at least for a time.
Just like the guy from Rack 2 did, and he's still getting some money, while there was no update for like 2 years.
Those who pay you each month can't actually force you to do anything nor held you liable for anything.
Crowdfunding and patreon/other "supporting" platforms in a nutshell.(At least when it comes to porn game devs)
