And the save files broke again. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother when each update makes the previous version obsolete. Already reset 3 times, not going to do it anymore.

If you're having issues with your save, it's very likely that it's from an older version.
Saves from version 0.8 and onward are all compatible.
Of course, there may be some exceptions — for example, if the player saved in a specific location or during a specific interaction that no longer exists or was changed, which might be your case.
If you came from a version newer than 0.8, I’ll be happy to help you recover your save — just send me the file here.
Does a player need to have knowledge of the show this is inspired by to enjoy this? Is it expected?
Dev seems decent. Acknowledging the site exists, not bitching about it (but still well within their right to not contribute even when pinged directly for releases), and engaging. This goes a long way when deciding to transition over and supporting a game, when the dev seems to be consistent and reliable in their work.

No, you can play the game without even knowing what ONE PIECE are. You'll not lose anything, and everything you need to know is explained in the game.
Hey friend, you really need to improve the ship's travel and supply system. In the last update, I was on Whiskey Peak and completed everything in that version. Now I want to play this new version, and it turns out I have a side mission where I have to return to an island I've already visited, and with the 13 ship supplies I have, I can't travel because otherwise my crewmates start losing levels. And on the island I'm on, I can't buy supplies. It's annoying having to gather supplies and spend them on trips I've already made because I have to go back to islands I've already visited. Especially if I can't buy them on the island I'm on... plus, I have to wait 3 minutes to get to another island...
Scenes are not showing. They trigger, I can select the stages, even finish, but nothing shows. Quite frankly annoyed that I wasted 10 GB on this.
EDIT: Apparently it was because of an issue with Windows 11 (SHOCKER I Know). Ignore my complaint.

I've enabled the autoclicker skill but can't find where to turn it on. I'm sure I'm just overlooking something simple but a little help would be great.
When pressing the skills box, were you unlock autoclicker, you will find there are 4 boxes with a + on them, press one of them and select the skill you want. After that you need to activate it during fight, once active, it will remain up until you press it again.
Can you make the ship go faster?
Why did you make it take 2-3 minutes of idling to travel from the furthest places,
it serves zero purpose!

Shouldn't take that long, check if your ship is not over cumbered.
About why ship travels are not instant and takes time is all about immersion. I feel that is not cool to just teleport to wherever you want without that taking time. The navigation is a main part of the journey.
I know that is not perfect yet. And that's why I'm adding contents to be done inside the ship while you travel like fishing, creating items on workshop and cooking. But I'll also make a ship upgrade system where you can upgrade your ship speed and cargo capacity.
And I have in mind some ship battles in the future as well. So, yes maybe traveling is kinda boring right now but for sure have a purpose.
Is it correct, that the achievment about helping the blue haired girl with her ship improvement is not yet gainable? And did the game get easier( on pirate king difficulty) also i assume that cooking/crafting and navigation skills will get added later? Fishing is kimda inconsistent on android imo, but fun nonetheless, still missing one super rare :/

It's true — I ended up forgetting to add the lines of code that grant the achievement to the player at the end of the main quest. I've just fixed that in the code. In the next update, the achievement will automatically be awarded to everyone who has already completed the quest when they load their save — and, of course, it will also be granted normally to anyone who completes the quest from now on. Thanks for reporting it.
A few people have already mentioned this — that the Pirate King difficulty ends up being easier than the other difficulties. This happens because, even with the increased enemy damage and HP, the player ends up being rewarded in different ways. If you have any suggestions regarding this, feel free to send me your thoughts on Discord.
And yes, jobs like navigation, cooking, and workshop are not fully finished yet, and fishing and hunting are only partially implemented. There’s still a lot of work to be done in those areas.
Are the AI background here to stay? Such a shame, there are so many materials to get from the anime/manga and the dev opted with AI background.....
