Boring Days 0.34.4a (public)

This update focuses on reworking the old scenes with the wife and maid cooking together. I've reset the progress in these scenes so you don't have to start the game over.

Changelog:

Reworked scenes with the wife and maid cooking together

Added the ability to reset progress once on the Wife Patronage route

You can now postpone the conversation with the wife if you don't want to start the Wife Patronage route

The maid can now visit the wife in the bakery (requires progress in the new scenes)

I loaded my last save and couldn't find how to do it...

Observations:

The reset option doesn't really work, at least for me, until or unless one goes in an manually advances the scene counter to 2. The reset takes the wife's suspicion to 0, but does nothing for her assertiveness or lordliness score, which according to the in-game guide must be low before the maid can take over. It also does nothing for the variables tied to steps of the maid's increasing influence, like tanning topless with the wife. Once I did get the maidtowife scores high enough, the new scenes would start but only happen once every two weeks. Even then, the scene repeats numerous times before advancing and it takes months in game time to get anywhere. My advice is to start from scratch and have two separate playthroughs, one for wife in charge and one for maid in charge. But don't expect much in the maid route just yet. It's a real grind for not much content.

Does this game only have one route? Because I saw in the tags that there's male and female domination. And if I play, I'm sure I'll follow a Maledom domination route and dominate women. However, I want to know if this is possible or if it's just sitenic without options, and the player has no choice and will be forced to follow a straight path.

edit: I saw some comments saying that there is little DOM content, but the truth is that I don't mind little content because in the end I will have the satisfaction of hitting the hammer and saying that my character did not humble himself before anyone and did not bow before anyone, but rather that he is a dominator with his honor intact.

The tl;dr is basically early in development there was a Dominant route but that got ditched and the male dom content is mostlly a few leftover scenes with your secretary.

Tennis is so "well" fixed that I can play for an infinite amount of time, or even "catch" a blank screen. Don't bother, author - just make the keys clear for losing and winning, and the middle one for uncertainty (which is affected by MC experience).

I am having a couple of issue:
1. tennis on Wednesdays goes on forever.
2. I am not able to get the foot massage scene with the maid. The maid has seen the mc and his wife but whatever I try, I am not able to get the mc to massage the maid's feet. I have been able to do that in a previous version, although the current one I am playing is a save from the previous version.

Anyone knows how to get the patronage scene? According to the journal this should happen next but it never does: Patronage scene. The next morning, after the conflict scene, you have another scene with your wife and your maid. Afterwards, your wife tells you that you have to help your maid with the cleaning and that you have to give her a report at the end of the week.
