I wonder if with new graphics the dev will scrap the previous stupid locking in of routes, let people enjoy being a switch, stop trying to put em in boxes. It also locked out content if you didn't choose what was deemed as the correct route which also don't sit well. Again, let people choose what they want, don't tell them what they should want.

So much misinformation in this thread, people thinking there is a remake in the works and whatnot. And a few weeks ago people thought it was abandoned too, sigh. People need to learn how to read, and looking up information before jumping into conclusions.

Goddamn this is the second game I saw with a massive change. Don't hate it just jarring. It's just weird that I saw two in the same day. Went form 0.4 to 0.8 that's a jump.

There's no jump at all. The main game is still on 0.4, while the new Limbo demo is named 0.8 because it's using the new renpy 0.8 engine instead of 0.7.

There's no reboot or a remake. He's switching from HS1 to HS2 and that's it, so future scenes will be made with HS2 as shown in the demo. No old scenes will be remade.

well if this is the case it's the fault of original post labeling past update as "Before the Remake" !
it also says this in the Changelog ( Before the Remake )

Lots of moaning in this thread from what I see. Anyway, the lighting in the scenes is great, and the animations are fantastic. I don't know how you did it, HS2 Studio is a pain to use for me. Looking forward to future updates.

I already liked the old one and I loved this one even more, of course not so much because of the lack of content that this version has now, what I love most is this animation style, it gives a unique touch that you don't see in every game of this style, I'm looking forward to what will come in the future and I hope it continues, I prefer it to take a while to have content than to abandon it.

because patreon creators arn't paid to deliver they are paid to keep a project running, the incentive is to make dev as long as possible thus we have these

Oh Thank you i was so confused
I was wondering, is it a remake/reboot or a sequel. So it's just a Demo. I hope, that the new version, has a relationship system of choice. Because I haven't been able to get through the old version yet. Because of the iPatch that is not released yet.
Hope to see this new version soon. Although I still like the old version. It just needed to be modernized a bit in my opinion. We'll see how it goes.
