You say nobody wants them, but if his patrons vote for that, then they clearly do. Because all the rest of us who are not patrons, we don't get a say, and it doesn't matter what we want or don't want. The people on Patreon are the ones who mean this game exists at all. Without them, you wouldn't have anything to complain about. That's why they can persuade the Dev to do stuff, because it's their money keeping this project afloat.
And as for Tyler kicking Emma out on the streets, when she will soon be earning most of their money. Well it's not going to happen. With her potential promotions at the office, her modelling money and now her new job at the Bar. Emma's contribution to the household budget looks likely to outpace Tyler massively. So literally, she'll be able to do whatever she wants, and if Tyler doesn't like it, it's far more likely he'd be the one looking for new accommodation.
Personally, I think Tyler could easily be that kind of guy. I mean he's totally threatened by his wife having any connection with any man, who isn't him. So he doesn't exactly exude confidence in his own ability to hold on to her. So I reckon you wouldn't have to tweak his personality that much, before he also started feeling threatened by his wife's sudden rise to the position of main breadwinner. Women like confidence, and if he starts to lose it, for whatever reason, then those girls at work could also start looking elsewhere, and Tyler is stuck with only one option. Because once you start thinking like a loser, it's only a matter of time before you become one completely.
Now I'm not suggesting this should be an option, just that it could easily be one, if certain criteria were to change. Tyler is no way, a dominant alpha type of guy, and therefore it's not that difficult to see him becoming extremely threatened by a newly confident Emma, who is now the main breadwinner and has no difficulty getting any man she wants into bed. All you need to do, is make him slightly less confident than he currently is, and such a situation would probably overwhelm him. And obviously, if you're on a cuckold type route, then those criteria are likely to change, in a way they wouldn't on the currently existing routes.
