I've been playing since the game was released, genius.
Well, this person (MightbeSomeone)definitely played.
As for you, I’m sure you didn’t. Because around 80% of the update is story content.
As for the so-called sandbox:

  1. There’s the bonus event, but anyone who’s been playing for a while already knows how to unlock the peeping guy and it’s not for nothing that the majority voted for him.
  2. Samantha but can you even call that a sandbox event, considering the choices (drive her home / don’t drive her, go to the gym / don’t go) happen every day?
No, you didn’t play. You would’ve definitely seen the changelog with a detailed description of everything that was added.

  • Gameplay: Estimated playtime is 6 to 7 hours, depending on your reading speed and choices throughout the story. The average reading speed is around 200–250 words per minute during casual reading.
Reading speed is influenced by factors such as:
Age. People in their 20s and 30s exhibit the highest reading speeds; after 40, reading speed gradually declines.
Education level and profession. Lawyers and doctors who work with large volumes of text usually show higher reading speeds.
Type of material. The reading speed of technical documentation is typically 20-30% slower than that of fiction.
Reading technique. For example, the "skimming" method allows you to increase your speed to 400-500 words per minute by focusing on keywords and main ideas of the text.
Emotional state. Stress can reduce speed by 30-40%.
Some people can read faster: for example, professional translators can process up to 500-600 words per minute while maintaining a high level of comprehension.

I played the game, and it took me an hour to update. I can say that all authors post their work, and that they have a lot more content in the game for 2 to 10 hours of gameplay, but the story, which the player experiences differently, depends on the playing time and how they read. But the biggest drain on gameplay time is the repetition in the games you repeat every day, like running, cleaning, bathing, having sex, and so on. These take up more hours of time in games than the actual plot of the games, written by the author.

Authors should probably take that into account too :))) how fast someone reads. I assume the estimate is based on an average speed, and maybe it was even written by an AI.
The thing is, I read quickly too… But hey, you can jerk off quickly or you can do it with feeling, meaning, and proper pacing. People play games for pleasure, not to get graded by a teacher. Using CTRL, I can get through it in 20 minutes.
