Just finished the game, about four hours to get the True End. One thing I can recommend is not to obssess over the debt; near the end the casino starts dumping out 1500+ gold on success, even without that you'll be pretty close, and
As a game it's pretty simple; basic RPGmaker combat, without much in the way of customization. It's functional, just not anything like Pandora's Forest, Tales of Androgyny, Dungeon Repeater, etc. Game's never difficult; by the time enemies start doing significant damage, you have the gold to item spam through them.
Story is also pretty flimsy, you're definitely not here for the prose with a MTL translation, and even if it was competently localized it's still not a serious part of the game. It really is summed up in one sentence; "you're a bounty hunter, your landlord abuses you, run dungeons". There's technically NTR, but the boyfriend doesn't really say or do much. The most damning part is the fact that your party members have no bearing on the plot whatsoever; they're just there to fill out the glass cannon & mage roles in an RPGmaker game. They show up in two CG's, their deal is never explained.
The MTL is mostly understandable, sometimes people are falsely attributed dialogue, it randomly ducks and weaves out of first and third person narration, and there's rarely much flavor or style to it. Inconsistently readable, like most AI output.
Art and sound on the other hand is great; it's distinct, well-shaded, and more than competent. Animation is sparse, but when it is used it looks pretty decent. The voice actress/sound samples they got for the protagonist are really good; not exaggerated moaning/screaming, subdued panting and groaning that fits the character well. The combat sprites are extremely filler though; they never match the actual in-game character (Orochi is the funniest example of this), and I'm honestly not convinced that they didnt pull them from an RPGMaker asset pack.
All-in-all, surprised that there's people mad about this. It's a decent length, the scenes (what you're mostly here for) are good, it's never frustrating even if it's never ambitious either. Anyone expecting a sprawling Patreon-type H-game here is being pretty silly. Outside of stuff like Rance Quest/Kamidori/Utawarerumono this is how japanese porn games are; concise and targeted.
