The next update will be released once there is enough new content to justify it. I can't tell you when that will be, though. It depends on how much free time I have, how development progresses without issues, etc.
So far, it's coming along nicely, so hopefully, you won't have to wait too long, but I can't give you any timeframe.

There is no need for walkthrough. There are few splits, you must sometime chose path for one or another scene.
