Bottom choice is that mc stops them and tries to fix things. Friend goes away but later when mc comes home hes fucking her in the entryway, and says that she may love mc but she is addicted to his dick, she comes like crazy and mc knows this is true, after credits the mc is married and comes home to see his pregnant wife fucking her friend. The kid is mostlikely the friends but mc will raise it as his, end.

He even goes as far as asking to watch them having sex so that he can get better at it.

I would say this is more netorase then netorare since the MC from the get go asks the girl for an open relationship so they can become a couple, he then also asks to be told about her having sex with the other guy, asks the other guy for tips and also to watch the two having sex. He also seemingly likes watching the other guy bang the girl. Though as the player you can pick if the guy wants to step up and have sex with her on his own or if he likes watching more. It's also unclear if there is netorare even in the so called netorare route since the MC is still together with her and is seemingly into it...

I feel like the "true ending" was just to introduce the newbies to other more NTR-ish Atelier Sakura game...
The happy ending is cool though, probably the only possible "happy" scenario as well

Very little variation? As someone who played almost all of their games until recently (I didn't play most that were released this year as I toned down my NTR-love) I disagree. The worst part of their games is actually their mediocre art, but in general writers try to add some kind of twist to each of their games and some end up having a very unique premise that's unlike anything in the genre. Unlike RPG-maker games, they also actually try to develop the relationship between the two main characters and not just throw you in the middle of a story where the boyfriend doesn't play any role whatsoever. Considering that NTR VNs are very rarely released, their games are a lifesaver for those who're into NTR and can't just replay the same game over and over, or those who aren't ready to invest into a 30+ hour long NTR game or otherwise skip most of the context. Funnily enough, non-NTR games from AS usually have much better art, which is kind of disappointing, but I understand why they try to save money on works that will give them some guaranteed revenue regardless.

I dont know japanese so of course i can only tell my experience on translated works, but the NTR japanese market feels like a fucking mess. It's supposed to be most popular genre but it's like the 95% of the stuff i read is unreadable garbage. The girl is most of the time a piece of meat played by the bull and turns into a street worker as soon as she tastes a slightly larger penis. The MCs are oblivious and impotent idiots who almost never feel relatable or likable.

And plausibility aside, japanese VN feel extremely meek content-wise when compared to western cuckold content if you enjoy humiliation, femdom or S&M.

At least Atelier sakura tries to write stories where the girl actually has some sexual backgrounds and preferences and the MC sometimes has the courage to admit that he enjoys what it's happening.

Oosawara Sadao is among the few consistent japanese writer who I think understands the fetish and doesnt have brain damage , and I'm not even a NTS-only crusader.
