Ren'Py - Completed - Braveheart Academy [v2.1] [Chrys]

Not a bad game. I think its nice there is an easy mode and you can turn off trap content (obviously don't ;P) As for why I don't give it 5 stars. Well I found the endings severly dissapointing, especially for my girl Vivi.

Pros:

One of the VN/Game with the most animation(In the +18 category). one of the only VN/game where all sex scenes are animated. the animation is also well done and smooth.

- Next point is probably contains some bias
Most character are good looking(certain character look a bit too young might be just my taste but some character actually look too young). Not the best looking character model compared to the top games but they are nice to look at. I like the artstyle but for this type of artstyle i could some points that could be improved.

Each character is unique. They all have different backstory and personality and you have to get to know them a bit(some more than others) before you do sexual things with them.

A lot of side characters which has only 1 event but it is a sex scene.

Cons

The VN/Game is too short especially for this type of game. took me around 2:30 hours to complete it. Each characters story seem to be too short and slightly rushed. The game doesn't contain many events left after you have sex with a character. it usually has only 1-3 event left for that charcter after you have sex the first time. I would say the main character of this game have as much time or less time than some other games side characters.

The female characters don't interact with each other much. So there are nearly no threesomes or foursomes or any non sexual event with more than 1 person.

contains useless mechanics. there is a charm mechanic which i never understood what it was used for. The female character appear based on RNG so some times you get some periods with no interactable events and just have to skip it. I feel that the time based system is much better as there is no rng.

The GUI cantains some items that are too small. the effect is minimal and it is not too unpleasant to deal with.

For this type of game i would expect to have a lot more character both side and main characters but the game only has 7 and the game is also short so it is not filling what it is missing.

Great VN/Game just would like for it to be longer, slightly better graphics and more characters. If it did i would rate it a straight 5/5. But as the game is complete i would just give it a low 4/5

Nice cg, nice character design, pretty good story even if some girls are a bit cliché. There is one for everyone (even trap and milf!)The NTR is totally avoidable.
The game loop can be annoying because each action pass time and so scene are cut in multiple bits. Puzzles are also repetitive and can spoil the scene.
Overall a pretty decent game, i recommend!

I come here with low expectation, thinking it just like so many Japan type games that you just skip for the sex, but this is a surprisingly good game. It is very rare that for this kind of games to have such entertaining coversation and likeabe MC. And the models are beautiful. Good game overall.

The game is not that bad. I enjoyed the character design and the animations very much. I just found the story's pace a bit too fast and abrupt. The writing is decent, I guess. Don't expect the story to be grand like other AVN. As I played the game, I found some weird inconsistencies with the story. One is with the first time you meet Rika. She is a student council president so I assume she would have known where the art club room was located instead of asking the MC who was a transferee at the time. As far as I know,
a student council president at least is aware the layout in the school. Also adding the fact that Rika is already in 3rd year. The second one was with Raven's sister, Azalea. If I can recall their parents are rich so why did Azalea borrowed money from some suspicious gang instead of asking their parents. I don't think that it was addressed in the game. Nonetheless, the game
has amazing animation and character design. I also liked the composition of every scene. The gameplay is just luck since you cannot really have the time to think the puzzle through since there is a timer. If you don't like the puzzle part of the game, you can just simply turn it off.

Mmmm.. i feel like a fish out of the water here, with all this good comments, but honestly i really didn't enjoy my experience, so far, with this game. I admit i havent finished it. I dropped it quite early. Maybe i'll try it again later, i don't know.

To me, pros: The models are very cute, the concept of the game is a bit fresher then your standard VN, a lot of animation.

Cons: I honestly found the gameplay painfully boring. Click on a location. Passively watch a scene. Do a shuffle 15 minigame. See some more scene. Repeat. The dialogs are plain terrible. They feel stereotyped and lazily written. There is no story as far as i went. Just a guy, the MC, who stumble on hot girls from his school and flirt with them, for their universal, unconditioned, bliss. And go on like this for, like, forever. Dirty scene look kinda weird although the girls are cute. When in subjective i felt o could went into motion sickness.

I swear i dozed off a few times. Ok, i've been working 7/7 for a couple of months now, and i'm rather exausted but i feel like i would have dozed anyway.

The events and the story are soo good, and the girls are so many styles, but the animation... DAMN, its the best part !! its perfect !! :3

Great game. vast gameplay with puzzles and time managment. nice animations and lots of fetishes. took about 3-4 hours on easy mode to see all scenes . Doesn't really require WT. Usually only one right answer, wich could be found with scrollback, also all endings are opened at the end of the game.

one more thing i think it will be better if we can customize the MC and making it looks like a (Trap) Character

or maybe add Futas Character To.

The game is overall pretty high effort you can tell that the dev did genuinely care about what he was making but there's just so many things that were annoying about it.


The first 1/3 of the game is just incredibly lame. Go up to a character you have absolutely 0 connection to, (as there is literally no prologue or common route) and watch these girls randomly recite facts about themselves for no reason other than to give you a puzzle bonus when they ask you to recite the fact 10 mins later. The whole time the MC is just making corny ass jokes CONSTANTLY .
The start of the game is also very awkward due to the game having no actual overarching story or direction.


Once you've actually met the characters and they have gotten past their trivia phase the overall writing and dialogue becomes better, the girls become pretty cute and likable I ended up caring about at least half of them. The sex scenes are good, although I do think they kind of come out of nowhere for some of the girls.


There is also a lot of technical issues in this game that are just aggravating.
Having no descriptions on how to get missing scenes, having scenes that you can just miss and can't watch unless you restart the whole game. Having a bunch of scenes that are not in the gallery or rewatchable in any capacity (this one is the worst)


These may seem like nitpicks but they genuinely made the game far less enjoyable to play, if the technical stuff was fixed it would be a 4/5 and if the places with awful writing were fixed it could be a 5/5

Despite its few shortcomings, Braveheart Academy is still one of the best porn games of the genre.
Final Thoughts:
While I do have some criticism to give, the sheer quality of this game ultimately drowns all of that out. There's a lot of content here, and it's always nice to see a finished product instead of the usual abandoned scams. It's a shame that the development of this game was a bit problematic at some point, but I give credit where credit is due. If you want a wholesome story with lovable girls and funny interactions, then you should definitely give this one a go. If you personally hate things that feel a little weeb, however, you should proceed with caution.

What an absolutely amazing project. The amount of effort put into this game alone is worth more then 5 stars. There is an array of different characters with a multitude of scenes. Not just any scenes btw these scenes are heavily animated. In fact most of the game is heavily animated even when some characters are just having small talk. The small talk itself is even interesting because of the story and learning about each character. The puzzles are not to difficult but if you think they are in the way then you can always turn them off in the options.

Honestly let me repeat about the amount of effort that went into this game. It is pretty clear that there was a lot of love put into this project more then I have scene in most games. Try it out give it a chance and don't forget to rate it!

What a lovely, sexy, all around great game. I played on easy mode so I can't speak on the puzzle aspect of the game but everything I experienced I thoroughly enjoyed, from the animations to variety of characters it was all done perfectly; the femboys being my favorite of the tons of love interests. I don't have enough good things to say about this 5 star game.

Usually I don't find this style of art very appealing but the author does it so well. The animations are nice and the renders are also good. The scenes are all pretty hot and plentiful. I really liked almost all of the girls and they were fun to talk to. Different personalities and storylines and its nice that you can do them all in the same run and don't have to do replays. The puzzles are annoying but the author left an off option in so its not a problem at all.

Also this game was already great but it gets extra amazing points for having trap content. This site greatly lacks trap stuff. If you want to play an h game with some great trap content you gota play this.

Time to pick apart another porn game. I TRIED. I really did. I read through the first bits of it but it just gets worse and worse. The MC is so robotic and the heroines are generic characters that try to be deeper than they are. The dev tried really hard to make this game feel more alive in terms of animation and stuff. But they don't animate facial emotions but sometimes do. I don't get the focus and with a little more elbow grease it could feel more personable. But the writing is boring. That's what pushes this game down the most. It's boring to read and it's a shame. All these games boast about X,000 lines of dialog added or whatever but it ends up being character tropes and stuff.

All being said you won't hate this game. It's non offensive and looks nice. The dev put actual effort into this game and that's very refreshing as of late. My verdict is check it out and they should remove the completed tag.

Absolutely amazing renders, really charming and interesting characters, well-put story and romance, and simple playstyle. Everything that i wanted in a game like this.
Every ending was good, and this definitely was worth every single hour of my day.

Nice story, great animation, a lot, no, A LOT OF content. Absolutely satisfying! If you wanna have a great time - this game is excellent choice. Really, i did not see anything better for a very long time!!!
