Desperately needs a tutorial
EDIT: Under "Subjects" is this line (NaN means 'not a number')
Thanks, will be fixed with next update.
About the tutorial, yes, i thought about that. I will put something together when i have a little spare time. I t won't be detailed, but enough to get you through the first couple of missions. That should be enough to figure out the rest i suppose.
Since i want to go Patreon, i cannot add porn. However, an alpha tester promised to share his video pack and he promised to upload soon. I think it will be available within 24 hours.
Wait, achievements? It this some sort of roguish multiple tries game? I'm kinda not down for that.
In try to balance the game in a way, that it is possible to win the game with the first try. It won't be easy though and there will be different decisions that change the available missions.
Since i like games that aren't easy to win, some people on the other hand struggle with such games, i added achievements that will make it easier if you fail first time. In addition, it makes another playthrough more interesting.
There will also be an ultra hard mode which cannot be won without atleast a bunch of achievements for those who seek extreme challenges. It isn't fully developed yet, but it can be tested. All you need is Intelligence 5 and Stamina 1. It is low priority atm, since i have to do a lot of other things first.
In addition, many of the achievements will help you even during your first playthrough when you unlock them.
Needs an option to tell the goons who want to join you to eff off instead of joining you for a turn, eating your food, then buggering off because they don't like your leadership
I thought about that, but decided against it. It would be against the general concept of the game and it's gameflow. When you advance a little in the game, there will be possibilities to get rid of goons. In the first mission it doesn't matter when your goons flee, since those attached to your first company will stay loyal.
How do you tell a goon to get busy farming ?
How do you keep prisoners from dying ?
How do you increase loyalty ?
How do you build anything ?
Get to week 40 and get a game over.
- A goon farms once he is attached as a farmer, either at the greenhouse (level 3 HQ) or at the farm. The production value depends on the number of farmers, the farms level, and the number of whores at the farm (and the fertiliser level, but research comes in mission 3 or 4).
- Prisoners stop dying when your prisons capacity is higher than the number of prisoners (but never when you don't have a prison at all). But even then, they will die once in a while. In short, there will always be some losses for your glorious cause.
- The easiest and fastest way to increase loyalty is to train prisoners, most effective to increase loyalty is Gangbang, since many goons have their fun. Later on, exploring will help too, since when your company is bigger and has better stats, you will find more girls and there will be better events that increase loyalty. But there are many other options like the "feast" for example.
- You need materials and then just click on the "brick arrow" under the building.
Have you increased stamina like it is suggested? I tried the first level at least 20 times without achievements, you should win when you just increase stamina. Maybe you really had bad luck if you did, but i definetly will check it out. Thank you.
afaik, right now all you can do is explore and pass time until you randomly get enough XP to level up.
Game has potential but right now it's pointless grind.
XP gain isn't as randomly as it seems like. Under "Character", right next to Experience is a ?-button where i wrote how experience gain is determined.
I deliberately designed the first mission simple, since there are a lot of mechanics and interacting variables in the game. All you have to do is explore and level stamina to get to the second mission. Once you have 3 or even 4 stamina and your company is level 2 or 3, the mission starts are somewhat easier. And that should be at the beginning of level 2. Once your company is 4 or 5, you can harvest ridicolous amounts of food, gold, materials and so on compared to the beginning.
That being said, mission 2 is more interesting, since then you actually have to build something and start training.
Maybe it all will be more clear with the video pack. But the game can really be played at a fast pace, since you only have to make a few decisions and most stuff is automated.
But i have to admit, that i probably haven't taken into account that people who didn't make the game, don't know how easy it is, since they don't know the mechanics behind it.
I may make it a little easier to begin with.
Let's wait for the video pack and see what others have to say.
