Well, you see, there is this thing called DNA. You do not get to choose your DNA...not yet anyway, maybe in the future, when we can have designer kids.
For real though, it would kind of ruin the entire concept and there are plenty of other games where it is a white protagonist that catches someone cheating and you can then manipulate them. I am white and I like changing things up from time to time. Playing the same thing over and over gets boring. It would be the same if 90% of the games featured a black protagonist. Maybe if we flipped the entre thing on its head and it was a white stepson and his gold digging black stepmom. That is a lot to ask of the dev though.
