Has anyone ever expected anal sex stuff?

Anal part is another potential. I see this as a pregnant-control method, especially when capturing wild nephs.

On top of that, there is a very specific setting in the creation part: anus.

I mean: why not adding such sex posture, even though not being a "main dish", since the dev has mentioned this?

It's crazy right?
I don't mind it if It were a hobby of sorts, but this man is getting paid in dough.
On the flip side, he's already stated it's not happening.
I'll go off on a limb here and say if a developer of a first-person shooter didn't want shotguns, for whatever reason, maybe people should expect there won't ever be shotguns in there never ever never ever ever.

So, we should definitely have shotguns in the game right? But the dev said no.
Are we expected to have this developer put in shotguns anyway? Nope.

But the guy is getting paid to build a first-person shooter. People obviously want their shotguns. The dev continues to build the game without boom sticks.

The shotguns are expected, yes. We really want our shotguns.
At the same time it's just completely out of our hands.

So the dev insisted on not adding anal sex regardless of how the community really demands?

Well...... I'm not the first one ever to come up with this desire. But it is made clear that the dev may suggest we'd better give up our "untrue desire", right?

I managed to translate all character dialogues and some additional texts.
However, despite existing in the localization file, the rest of the changes are not displayed in the game.
You can thank Derelict for not completing the localization process.
I’ll provide links and steps for you to translate the game into your own language.
Honestly, I don’t know if it’s worth the effort. I only did it because I’m on vacation and wanted to learn more. That’s because every time the game updates, the .locres file I’m sharing will need to be extracted from the game again, compared with mine, and updated accordingly.
This file only works for version 761.9 - 761.12.

If you still want to translate it, I’ve prepared a shortcut.
Why is it a shortcut? Because I extracted the .locres from the .pak file, fixed incorrect hashes, and discarded the non-existent ones. Without this, parts of Falene’s dialogue wouldn’t change, and many other dialogues—like Celeste’s aren’t even present in the original .locres.

So let’s begin:

Step 1: Unlock the game to make it load your modified file instead of the original one.
1.a: Download and install . If you want to see how to do that, a YouTube link.
Once installed, set Load Loose Files to True, then go to the game’s folder and continue to the next step.

1.b: Go to the Content folder and create the following folder structure:
Localization → inside it, create a folder called OBF, then inside it, create another folder named en,
and paste the attached OBF.locres file there.
Final path:
..\GameFolder\OBF\Content\Localization\OBF\en\OBF.locres

Step 2: Download the LOCRES editor and translate the texts
2.a: Download (no installation required).
Make a backup of your .locres file in case anything goes wrong.
Open your .locres with the app. In the menu, go to Tools > Export All Texts, and you’ll be given three options:
Without Names
With Names
CSV File
Pick one and begin translating.

2.b: After translating, with the .locres file still open in the app, go to Tools > Import All Texts.
The tool will highlight the edited lines.
Then just go to File > Save.
Now you can launch the game and check if everything looks right.

Notes on Exporting
Without Names: Exports a .txt file with only the text entries, like:
Public<cf>Bath

With Names: Exports a .txt file with the hash/key and the text, like:
5E0C5B42458097D42B5D9FB3FB1DDF7B=Public<cf>Bath

CSV: Exports as .csv like:
5E0C5B42458097D42B5D9FB3FB1DDF7B,Public<cf>Bath,

Choose the format that’s easiest for you to edit. You must keep the lines in the exact same order—never rearrange them. As for the text length: If your translation is longer than the original, it might not fit within the designated area in the game. This mainly affects player dialogue, whereas NPC lines are more flexible. I personally rewrote a better description in the Emissary dialogue about Essence Level 2.
Never change the hash, as it is the key that links the phrase to the correct display in-game.
For CSV: the format is hash, text, translation.
Editing the “text” or placing the translation after the comma has the same result—because once you import and save the .locres,
then export again, it will only include hash,text,... once more.

<en>Final Notes
In the attachments, there’s a .locres file already translated to Brazilian Portuguese, named:
PTBR.OBF.locres
To avoid confusion for those downloading the English version.
</en>
<pt-BR>Notas Finais
Nos anexos tem o arquivo .locres já traduzido para Português Brasileiro. O nome dele é PTBR.OBF.locres para não confundir as pessoas que vão baixar o arquivo em inglês.
</pt-BR>

Hope everything works out well for you!

Edit - I'm playing again and found some inconsistencies, I'll try to keep this up to date.
Edit² - The descriptions of the clothes are now working properly.
If you have already started translating and the translation of the description of clothes is not being shown in the game, even if you have edited, use this updated file as a base and add your translation on it.

My game keeps crashing every time I try to go into Lustwood. I get a message that I've run out of video memory and to lower resolution. So I turned that down to 1280x1024 but it still crashes.

Maybe my video card just isn't good enough... Why doesn't it crash earlier though?

Anyone know what the game requirements are? They're not in the OP and I haven't found them on that wikipage either.

To address these issues, you can try the following:

Lower graphical settings: Reduce resolution, texture quality, and other graphical settings to reduce VRAM usage.

Update drivers: Ensure you have the latest graphics drivers from your GPU manufacturer.

Close unnecessary programs: Close other applications that might be consuming VRAM.

Check for hardware issues: If the problem persists, consider potential hardware problems or instability.

Consider CPU downclocking: In some cases, reducing the CPU's clock speed (particularly for the problematic Intel CPUs) may resolve the issue.

System Requirements

Minimum:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10
Processor: AMD® FX-6300 / Intel® Core i3-2100
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD® Radeon HD 7950 / NVIDIA® GTX 750 Ti
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 8 GB available space
Additional Notes: Shader Model 5 GPU, 64-bit only

Recommended:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10
Processor: AMD® Ryzen 7 1700+ / Intel® Core i7-3770+
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD® Vega 64+ / NVIDIA® GTX 1080 Ti+
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 16 GB available space
Additional Notes: Shader Model 5
+ GPU, 64-bit only

It's sort of makes sense that you crash in Lust Wood.
Spawning mobs might have hit you hard.

Do we need a new BotN Tools?

I abandoned the game a long time ago, tired of playing it again after every minor update.
I recently talked to the developer of BotN Tools, and I had a question for the community:
*What exactly does not work in BotN Tools v0.10, or does not work as it should in the latest versions of the game?
*What new important functions have become necessary?

I will pass on your wishes to the developer.

Well BotN TOOLS are seems made for edit you character and nephs on code level, like in HEX editor, yet more simple. As for new BotN TOOLS version, we probably need one, cuz in recent game versions traits Nyphomania and Satyriasis were combined into one tarit Hypersexual for all genders.

Thanks! That's really helpful.

That's likely where my issue is. I don't have a dedicated graphics card, mine is integrated into the motherboard. And my processor looks a bit older too...

11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1115G4 @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
Intel(R) UHD Graphics (4 GB)

I've already set graphics quality to 'medium' but I'll try to go lower and see if it helps (though considering my specs I'm not hopeful lol).

I was wondering if it had to do with too many wild nephelyms popping up at the same time, heh. That could totally explain it.

The problem is that they are furry.
Too much fur puts heavy load on a video card.

You might need to check your PC performance with FurMark:

Oh I never thought about the furry angle, though that makes sense in retrospect.

I tested with FurMark and got these results, not sure how to read them... First screenshot is when I hit "Run" second is when I use the "Benchmark P1080" option.

My CPU did start making a lot of noise after I ran that second test (just like when I play the game).

P1080 Is high definition resolution.

What this says is that you are getting 7 frames per second.
Generally a good smooth experience is 60 frames per second.

I think AA means Anti-aliasing, meaning the images rendered to benchmark your machine did not use techniques that reduce jagged edges on hairs.
That's sort of important, because it takes a bit of power and resources do this.

What that tells us is that you are unable to use Anti-aliasing in normal means for fur, even then everything becomes a slideshow.

It's kind of bad.

Figures.

Well, I'll probably have to get a new laptop soon anyway. That's not the only issue this one has, heh.

Will try to get something with better graphics.

Thanks for the help, in any case.

Another version Public Build: 0.761.11 has been released. Only 28.1Mb downloaded to Steam, apparently this is a Hotfix for v0.761.10.
I found this information in Discord:
0.761.11:
Fixed: Trait inheritance math
Added: Invert camera options

(MEGA)
(Google)
(Steam)

Traditionally, there is no word about the changes, the description is the same as for v0.761.8, v0.761.9, v0.761.10.
Release Notes: 0.761.11
* Added Breeder's Log -- a record of relevant messages, accessed in the menu
* Added more graphics options
* Optimized the Lovense system, Mobile (Automatic) was removed
* Fixed many bugs and issues, including multiple body traits on wild Nephelym
