How do you guys think compressions work?
I only press a button and magically its compressed the very second?

Compressing this game takes 52 mins.
(Note this is witha Ryzen 9 9950X3D OC'd)
First compressing with Standard setting came out to be 7.5 GB. So I have to rerun it. First I am currently compressing the Update only so I can check if the harsher settings are worth or if I have to go even harder). Its gonna take at least 1.5 hours.
If people want they can download my old compression and wait until I posted the update patches.

Also asking in game threads for compressions doesn't do shit, we don't read those.

Well thank you for your hard work. This game is too big to download with my connection speed. Will wait for the compressed version.

Today, we have several exciting updates about the Breeze of Passion DLC for you.

As we mentioned earlier, this expansion promises to be big and packed with content. The story will revolve around a hotel inspection that, of course, quickly spirals out of control. You'll have to act fast and think outside the box to save the hotel and not let the beloved Emma down. The inspector will turn out to be a real challenge — cold, bold, and sharp-tongued. But we believe this task is well within your power — after all, you know exactly how to win over even the most unapproachable ladies.

Every decision you make will matter. To save the hotel, you might need to resort to different methods: spying, blackmail, or seduction — the choice is yours.

As always, loyal and stunning beauties will be by your side, ready to help. But don’t forget — even their help comes at a price, and how you’ll pay for it is up to you.

And, of course, in the best traditions of our games, you’ll be treated to steamy scenes with your favorite MILFs, as well as fiery encounters with new and equally breathtaking ones.

Now a bit about development. Right now, we’re in the final stage. A huge amount of animations, scenes, and mocap videos have been created and are currently undergoing meticulous polishing: artworks are being refined, animations improved, sound effects added, and visual details perfected. As soon as we complete the visual part, we'll move on to coding and thorough bug testing to ensure you can enjoy the game without anything distracting you.

And here’s more great news. Now that most of the material is ready, we’re starting to treat you to fresh spoilers! The first one is already featured as the cover image for this post. In the coming days, we’ll be posting more sneak peeks to let you feel the atmosphere of the upcoming update we’ve been working so hard on.

And it is all a HUGE waste of time without significant compression, or more elegant coding. 10 gigs won't successfully download due to network or host issues, or load on many PCs due to processor limitations.

Any plans to update the patch for the dlc script? Haven't DL-ed yet so don't know if the old version will work at all, but even if it has some auto-replacing that will partially apply to the new content I'm guessing it would probably miss a few lines here and there. No pressure at all, just wondering if it is on your radar? I will play without the patch, but if you think you might update I'll prob wait since Emma has always been "Mom" for me. :cool:

Ima be honest here. No the game is actually pretty good optimized. He even optimized it from last version again. Standard compression gets it only down by like ~35%. I will now start new compression to avif with heavier settings and then a very heavy compression afterwards. Wish my CPU luck lol.

heh time for a threadripper!

i'm joking but i am kinda interested in how long a threadripper would take to compress a big game...
also i do understand there can be a lot of time taken to get it right without it looking bad. judging from my own downloads of games, i applaud your work at compressing games. there are a couple maybe more of other ppl who i also applaud.. thank all of you for your hard work.

I was about to could have gotten one of the 3000er for relatively cheap. But only the CPU would be cheap :HideThePain: And it would've been only to compress. So not really worth. And now with the 9950X3D usually everything goes pretty fast anyways, this one is an exception :HideThePain:

Heh there is way less thought in it then you might think usually we just use megalols standard compression :KEK: But for this one standard aint doing it anymore sadly. So have to go heavier with a decent result and then avif/av1 compression so it doesn't look as bad as when I use the normal webp/VP9 codecs.

the only thing needed is to patch unique lines like “We’re not even related,” and so on. With the patch, the MC will always call Emma “mom.”
You can play with the patch, and if you come across a line that needs to be changed, just let me know and I’ll add it to the patch — I haven’t had much free time lately.
