Unfortunately the saves cannot be loaded this error message appears.
Hi. Try to load an older save. I also had issues with the latest ones, but some from EP9 worked for me. But keep in mind the game got a big code overhaul with v1.01 again.

I have a more of an open/philosophical question as to why the rework of initial content. Not a criticism, as a sociologist focused on videogames, I like to learn more about the thought process that goes into dev decisions and so on. So, why do a rework of content that players have already played? Is it because you want them to replay it to get the new content and keep them engaged that way? Is it to improve the experience of newcommers, for example because it's launching on Steam or something? Is it because advancing content requires some backend work for example for new functions, so meanwhile the art and script teams can pump out content that doesn't require those changes? A different reason all together?
Well, it's all about first impressions. Many people don't play games until they get a full release, some play every update. Steam has its own community so first impression needs to be good. If I had more will I would rework ep4 ep5 and ep6 but it's just what it is. At that time I thought very dark renders may look cool, but now they are too dark for my style :D

Plus I am sure your skill have improved over the development cycle of the game and you look back and see the start and think oh hell no that ain't going fly. This is on my wishlist on Steam just waiting for release day.

Updated my compressed Android port of Bright Lord with JokerLeader's walkthrough mod to v1.0.1.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the port and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

Thanks a lot for the explanation, and it certainly makes a lot of sense. :D

I definitely fall into that category. Probably due to my "proof-reading" background that drives me to wait. Not really that interested in starting half-finished projects that may or may not end up in a completed product and I can't give an accurate review on later.
Best of luck with this one!

As I said a couple of days I got bad news and good news.

I think I will start with good news. Bright Lord is coming to Steam on November 8th! The game will have fully reworked the first three episodes, proofread the script, translations, new UI, and most importantly the beginning of the latest episode!

Tier 4 patrons($10$ tier) will receive a code to unlock bonus content(such as the preview). I hope this will make your money worthwhile and encourage more people to upgrade their tier.

And I would like you to encourage me to wishlist Bright Lord on steam so it gets bumped even more.

As for bad news...

All the updated information will be locked behind 1st tier(1,50$) and up starting tomorrow. Discord news will become only for patrons too.

There will be changes to tiers too. If you already have a tier nothing will happen but some of them will no longer be available.

The next week will be huge for me and I can't wait to see my game finally on Steam, wish me luck because there is a lot to do for me still.

Is there a mod for true relationships for the latest version that's not beholden to Patreon? I'm trying this out for the first time and prefer to see it's true story if it weren't held back by Patreon.

after playing this new version remastered from when I originally played what youre saying is quite inaccurate I'm only 15 minutes in and theres several pieces of dialogue where theyre explicitly stating they arent blood related even with setting the relationships....

fuck, what a gesture in the photo, look at what she has with her breasts, what a flour porridge, her breasts are well mixed, like tin dough.
