If the game is good it will have subscribers in SS. In any case, this game never had a strong subscriber base on Patreon, for me it would make more sense to start from 0 with just an SS account instead of having a patreon that can be taken away from you at any time.

YEA..it happened to another great VN (Life in Santa County )that got this pseudo rework , just to obey those damn patreon's hypocrytes...will see if it will be released on here the steam version,and i don't get why not just salute patreon and stick with SS and steam and don't waste time with 2 versions. when devs brings out some balls and just leave all so those fuckers bankrupt and devs ,finally, can develop the games as thy want?

As one of the two people responsible for the reworked plot - the aim is to consolidate the story, patch the plot holes, and make characters more believable in their behavior (aka not as cringe and childish as they sometimes appear). This game's story deserves to be told in a much more cohesive manner, hence why we were employed to that task.

Will some people dislike the changes? Sure.
Will that make Bright Lord a better experience? Also yes.

I don't see how forcing landlady / removing incest terms will make the game better? Just makes it worse flat out, there's a reason incest patches exist for basically every game.

Its the kiss of death for these types of games. Bunch of reworks, cutting content for patreon rules, into dev starting a new game while putting this on hold, into abandoned.

Curious how it's going to work on steam. Last I heard they are pretty much like patreon in a way with strict rules also with certain things. I know they most likely will hate the incest if it gets found out if it's in that version, and maybe other things if everything gets fully restored again.

Steam doesn't care about incest, or rape.

Steam only cares about characters in school situations, mainly high school, which in turn implies "under-age". Steam just does not like young looking characters at all really, or sex in school in say in "school uniforms".

I mean Inceston games are all full-blown incest and every single one is on Steam (and GOG for that matter).

Hmm, I forgot what game it was now since was awhile back, but I remember it was mostly just an incest game and that dev said they tried to go on steam, but they rejected it so they changed the relationships of the characters status to seem more they were roommates and resubmitted it, and it passed so that's what had me thinking steam is still just as picky as patreon on some things.

Mate, no one played this for the story past 30min mark, going from intrigue to pants on head retarded. This late in the story you might as well just rush end, big battle, you mind-break, dominate, impregnate, everyone lived happily ever after. The end.
Then start new project with same models/premise and now coherent story.
