Ok, I have to stop watching the previews because they are still spoilers for me .

I left my save at the part where the MC flees to an shitty hotel with the mother and younger sister. The older sister (the rebel) I still couldn't convince to go back to the family and is still working with the evil businesswoman who has another demon with her.

Well the choices in this game are a bit light weighted don't expect the story to go a very different route

Got no idea honestly how to check how long the update will take. If you skip everything, it can be 5 minutes long,g if you read everything can be 40 minutesc9

Just kidding, of course. I agree with you, that the mom looks very young for having these three adult children. I just don't think she looks younger than the MC, especially not 15 years.
The MC looks a bit too old to be younger than his older sister. So I guess he looks older than he is. I guess he is suppsed to be around 22, more or less (I don't remember if it was said, how old he is). His mother looks to me like being in her early thirties and in excellent shape. That would make her a REALLY young mother, sure. But if she looked 15 years younger than her son, how old would he be then? He doesn't look 55 to me. Really not. And the mom does not look like 18 to me, so that her son could "only" be 33. Really not, either.
Well - quite young? Yes.
15 years younger than the MC? Definitely not.

Using ubuntu linux, I completed "BrightLord_2-ep10" (d/l from F95) and it ran good.
Recently I d/l "Bright_Lord_v1.2.0_SE_Steam-WLM" (also from F95) but it does not run.

all files extracted from the .zip (with no error). When launching BrightLord.sh (Run As A Program), I see the Terminal window very, very quickly, like blink of an eye, starts/ends. No logs, no errors. Is there anything known different from the 2 versions that cause this? I have many other RPy VN's working fine now. Anything else to check?

Maybe better to wait for latest release? but perhaps it has same update/issue from the two version above?

mods? "Bright_Lord_v1.2.0_SE_Steam-WLM" is the file showing as post 1 on this thread (today). I did not add anything to it. If that file already has mods, where could I get an un-mod version (not steam)? or you mean something else?

works for me, beside the BrightLord.sh there are some other files u need to set as executable. I cba to find them all, so i just do

chmod +x -R *

in the game folder
