Guys do you also find it nauseating when there is a new render for each line of dialogue?
I turned on this game and it is really difficult to grasp it's plot and learn the characters when the pacing is so fast. There is not a moment for a breather, at least at the beginning of the game. I stopped at a point when I get to choose who to hang up with.
Does it get better later on?

Using a new render for each line of dialogue actually shows more effort and care than reusing the same image for many lines. Not doing it is actually easier for the developer, since it means they don’t have to create as many renders. Personally, I prefer this kind of attention to detail rather than using one image and throwing multiple lines of dialogue on top of it.

I'm playing on Steam and I'd like to know roughly how the progress is going. You mentioned in a recent update that some scenes would be re-rendered due to rendering issues, but it doesn't seem like anything has been updated since then. Is the work still in progress?

Man, you should definitely see a doctor. Having more renders is a sign of quality in the graphics part, not otherwise.

It's already there. For some people the issues were not the problem but for a small manority it was a problem :D

Ok, let me spell it out for you then. Your criticism isn't really a criticism at all. What you really are saying is that you prefer a different style of storytelling, in which a single render is used for multiple lines of dialogues. And that's all fine, as there's no right or wrong way on how to do that. It's just a subjective preference. But calling that a criticism, just because it's not to your personal preference, that's what's wrong.

I never said it's either good or bad. I said it's nauseating because it makes the game even faster paced than it is. The dev decided to sacrifice the foundations for a novel focusing solely on the visual part. The renders are pretty.
