Characters have a very nice design, but the story with two demons in behind the people is not my kind of novel, I'm interested in. Still technically very well done

Hey everyone!
Now that summer’s over, I’m finally back to working on Bright Lord without unexpected trips or interruptions. Progress has been steady, and we’re about halfway through the current episode. I also want to share some updates about the game’s development, the situation with
Bright Lord – Progress
We’ve hit 210 renders so far! I’m back to doing around 30–40 renders per day (with at least 20 on slower days). Since this episode is heading toward the story’s conclusion, it will focus heavily on wholesome moments between the love interests. My goal is to capture that warm, reassuring feeling that these characters are here to stay with the MC no matter what.
This theme will also carry into my next project, The Lighthouse—a story with a very different emotional tone from Bright Lord, and I can’t wait to share more about it.

It’s disappointing, because this censorship hurts not just developers but also players who want access to these games.
Steam Policy Changes
Steam has also introduced new restrictions: adult-themed games can no longer be released in Early Access. That means I can’t launch a game and update it over time like before.
Because of this, I’m considering a new release model for The Lighthouse:

- Releasing the game in smaller, cheaper parts (each containing 3–5 updates worth of content).
- Each new part will also include the previous ones, so new players always get the full experience up to that point.
- Alternatively, if Patreon support goes well, I may release it in two big parts or even wait to release the full finished game at once.

I'm not sure I understand this part. Is the idea to launch initial content that won't be in early access, and then add DLCs with new content plus everything from before?
Wouldn't this mean that people who already have the initial content would end up with "duplicate content" when it is added back alongside the new content?

I don't think it can be sold like that. At least, I've never seen it done before. It would leave the buyer of the original game feeling cheated and dissatisfied.
I have seen some people sell each new chapter as DLC, or split the game in two and sell Season 2 separately (with a new .exe), which Steam requires to be playable without a save from Season 1.
The publisher, Fooxied, will surely know the best way to do it.

Unrelated but it would be really nice if you add sound effects in the game. Life in Santa County did add sounds for their steam release and it was fantastic.

Sooo not cool after all this time. Thanks for breaking this. Soooo tired of the trend of netorare/ protagonist being cucked games. Look obviously there are guys into this now or more games would not have it but this should have a tag in the game description along time ago. Soo much wasted time on this game. Thanks again for revealing the truth. There was another vampire game that pulled this shit earlier this year. ( harem haha fooled you cuck)

The magic will lie in discovering its factions and pseudo-apocalyptic horror story.
