Comics and cartoons and movies and series get away with it just fine. This is already a supernatural out of this world game with otherworldy premise and stakes and plot and tension and story. You can go see actual gore in advertised slasher movies set in your exact neighborhood featuring your exact friends or neighbors and Tarantino is doing ”watch and forget” popcorn, visceral, contrarrian, violence on tap movies for the masses since for ever. Those movies people watched young and got stuck with their every explicit, barbaric, inhuman scenes in their minds for all time.
Pretty sure using a gun, a Katana or a chainsaw or chaining victims in the basement for rape and murder on demand on the big screen like in the cult classic pulp fiction - is a much more easily to pick up and emulate premise than what we got in this game.

To be honest i played a ton of games reviews for me are worthless, a developer should tell his story in the way he/she wants to,
now the fact the game has two routes love or corruption i see it as a bonus, also this should go without saying if you do not like the
game how about go develop your own game, i know developers who make 40 000 $ a month you know why they listen to people
but they make their own game, if you try to make a game to please everyone you will end up with nothing.

This is because the joker mod is not updated yet. I did figure out a solution that does not require playing from the beginning.
Hopefully I can explain it clearly enough to follow.
1. after extracting the the 1.15 version of BrightLord, open the folder and make a copy of the game folder with a new name like game.1
2. install the joker mod as usual and before starting the the Game browse into the game folder and delete or rename/change the extension of 2 files ep14.rpy and ep14.rpyc.
3. open a save from before the beginning of ep-14 and play until close to the end of the episode.
4. make a save here and close the game.
5. now rename the game folder that has the nod installed something like game.2. Then rename the game.1 folder to game .
6. start the BrightLord game again and open the save you just made and play forward from this point without the mod.
I hope this helps someone.

I've come back to this game after a long time. I'm so happy it looks so great! amazing! This are some of my favorite girls ever.
However i was quite shocked by the new UI and the menu screen i feel all the girls goodies are being spoiled! before i can develop a connection with them. (re-connection in my case). Maybe less is more in this case? let the menu be more neutral, and let us undress the girls "ourselves" ?

Just wanna double check, is there still corruption in the latter parts of the game? Been a while since I played and I noticed that the game is shifting away from the Mind Control and corruption, and I was wondering if it has been fixed with these past few updates.

Sure, dear! Nothing to fix. The whole thing is framed as being wrong and a struggle to go into, just like many many many action hero movies where they show in painstaking detail the whole rape and murder before the hero gets to do his heroism.
This is a supernatural ghost story with posessive otherworldly beings - John Johnz for example is posessing Johnathan Kent in the Man of tomorow animated movie and also mind reading Clark from using his otherworldly Martian mind probing ”contact” method - such things are a broad fictional plot driving story arc that showcase the otherworldy stuff - this game directly shows you the John Johnz and his posessive powers in painstaking graphic detail - pretty sure you cannot miss the fact this game story is pure fantasy and not of this world .. but you do you.
This game is not in a million years or miles in the kind of practical maind controlling domineering seductive tactics of real movies featuring real people doing the controlling and the domineering and framing it like every day anyone can do it gimmick.

the fuck people think is this game? Bright Lord since day 1 was what it was, and if people is getting mad because some drawings are getting "Raped" or corrupted, that people should be put in mental institutions and never see the light

Hey what did I do to get such an awful treatment! I was merely asking if the corruption path is still up, as when I used to play Bright Lord there were at least 2 different paths to play, Romance and Corruption. I was merely complaining how later it felt like the Corruption path was simply becoming Romance with a label on it and was wondering if such a problem was fixed. At least have the common sense to be polite, and not be a uncouth and disrespectful savage from the start!
Give it to me straight. Did the dev really self-censor the game and make corruption route some wholesome thing?
there are still options that increase corruption or love depending on your choices.
Those of us who use Android cannot download these files. It needs to be compressed for the browser to download them
