Ren'Py Bright Past [v0.99.2] [Kosmos Games]
Bugs galore and some very confusing and misbalanced progression and game design (managing character's mood, tracking what to do with npc progression). But this is possibly the most immersive, complex and ambitious porn game I've ever seen.
Some questionable/implausible dialogue, which might be partly due to a bad English translation. Also some implausible character models: Some characters don't look real in face/body proportions; some black characters don't have black facial features; The "Gangsters" look like pretty boys out of a Twilight movie and were extremely immersion-breaking (bullshit detector went off big-time).
But for sheer scale and ambition, this game deserves far more than the 3.5 stars it's getting, especially when compared to other porn games on this site. Fingers-crossed the devs clear up all of the many progression bugs / endless loops and get a talented writer to smooth over the English translation, because this could really be something substantial.
Question on potential relationships though: Is there one good male character romance choice in-game for MC that isn't just trying to get his dick in her? Haven't found a single one so far. I thought maybe the guy at the coffee shop would turn into that, but it ended up not happening. That's all more of a narrative choice though and not a fault or ding on the game. Would be a "nice-to-have" however.

Btw, there's also a really bad bug with the sister. Hadn't met her in-game yet and accidentally clicked a grey silhouette of her and her roommate that appeared in front of the college [no color. Just grey]. Sister became available as well as access to the dorm room but when you go there, her and roommate are completely non-interactive. One of them was interactive once, but started spewing out dialogue meant for Owl or the other girl at the music store. I figured the bug would hopefully correct itself in further playthrough, but it looks like those two characters are just a progression blocker now and I'd have to load a save before the bug took place to progress through again, meet them and actually interact with them.

i am at the "ask for help" step. Cant seems to find anyone to help alex, getting into the rock bar. Some Walkthrough said to meet a guy calles "Thomas" at the busstop, but that event seems to not trigger for me. any ideas? ^^

It seems that you will have to start the game all over again due to the use of cheat codes. I can't finish building the studio

Guys, what happened? the update came out on December 31 and we are January 3 and nobody has it.
