To increase more "courage" you can use 2 bottle of wine with val, bit grindy but easier task to increase courage continuosly, keep release her until you feel bored to repeat that... lol.

Req. : 9 courage, 2 bottle of wine, and 1 bottle of beer (to add 1 courage/non-permanent, after 1st event you did not need it to repeat event on another day).

For whatever reason that event with Val and the wine does not repeat for me and I have had win in my inventory for weeks.

I would agree that I hate how courage locks up content and then there is no reliable way to raise courage.

Totally agree. Such an obvious oversight imo. Kinda makes me not want to pick up the game anymore unless that's changed. She's by far my fav character.

That Val and Barb can have skyrocketing relationship points with Alex (I never miss bath time, kitchen sex, etc.) but very little story movement is a bit bewildering.

I'm hopeful things will come around in later updates.

After you kiss her(your courage increased by one), you have 2 options: 1. hold her (req: 8 or 7 str) and you can't repeat that event anymore, 2. release her to repeat that event on another day. (I use 0.89.2 original ver).

Note: or you can simply edit your save data using renpy save editor to incrase anything lol.

I've played several times l'm at only one missing Sleepover at the motel alone, in the pastry shop,under the bench in the casino, their use to be one under Valerie's night table but I can't seem to trigger the drinking Alex event

Alex current addiction for alcohol is no, and to trigger it, alex must be a middle/hight addicted to alcohol and get drunk at night (drink 2 or 3 glasses of vodka, and your screen blurried for being drunk), and during that you enter valery's room.
