If there was ever a game that absolutely REQUIRED a walkthrough, this is it. No WT linked on first page, but I see a bunch of old posts referencing one. Can anyone give me a link, because I have zero clue as to what to do in what order, and everything I read tells me you have to do certain things at exact times.

it tells you how to change the relevant line in the file which MasterGamer1234567890 mentioned; it's in the "renpy" folder at the same level as the "game" folder.
I don't know if it works with phones though, perhaps you can't edit the file
The simplest solution may be what Brannon suggested.

I found this save-editor and it seems to be working with all versions of renpy games. You can check it out. Can't say anything about how secure or private it is. They also have a tool to repack an old save to new version of renpy

Right now i am using joiplay to play windows versoin+mod, and no need to edit save data anymore.

Sorry, laughing about the double post. did you find the mistyrious Key? by the trash containers ? if not go there (click on them till you find the key) go to the other side (where you go to the Red light district ) and on the left side there is a clickable door follow the hints from there

Firstly congratulations on mistaking a forum for a chatroom and the double post.
Secondly the spawn requirements for the bum and subsequently the key to the shelter is complex and involves advancement in the main story, certain points in courage and certain points in beauty.
You find the bum to the left of your house IF those requirements are met. He approaches you.
The door itself is to the right of the house. The street that leads to the factory and ultimately to the red light district. With the key in your inventory a door on the left wall is clickable.
