Yeah, that is just because of Steam and they are more than likely moving to a new Ren'Py SDK and will break saves.
It will be more or less completed. It will mostly be going back in and adding content before the endings then a DLC later on.
Moving an existing game to a new Ren'Py SDK? Namely a game that took YEARS of trial and errror to approach v1.0... What could possibly go wrong?

There is nothing inherent in Ren'py that breaks saves; it's just that most developers can't be bothered to account for it.

I'm having an issue with the beech scene, I suspect a bug. It says I need to take a picture with some people there on a Wed/Thurs and it requires a swimsuit and 20 courage... But I just don't get the option to take a pic. Am I missing something?
In my experience, all the games that underwent an SDK update experienced new bugs due to the new SDK not being backward compatible with the old one.

Thanks for the advice, but I have tried this and the entry has been there for a long time. I remember triggering the event early on before I had the 20 courage but obviously could not continue with it.
Now the couple appear on the beech, but when I click on them, I can only go back. No option for a selfie
