However, the release of version 1.0 on Steam doesn't mean the end of development. I still have many plans for the game's development. I want to deepen interactions with some secondary characters, add more romantic storylines with male characters (including the long-awaited relationship with Rudo), and implement new ending variants. Among them are storylines involving pregnancy and expanded Red Quarter content.

There is nothing inherent in Ren'py that breaks saves; it's just that most developers can't be bothered to account for it.

I'm having an issue with the beech scene, I suspect a bug. It says I need to take a picture with some people there on a Wed/Thurs and it requires a swimsuit and 20 courage... But I just don't get the option to take a pic. Am I missing something?

Well, a lot of these "old" games are on ancient SDK's the newer SDK's allow for more features, some even have severe memory leaks.

In my experience, all the games that underwent an SDK update experienced new bugs due to the new SDK not being backward compatible with the old one.

Sometimes you have to skip that day or even a week to trigger the event... Because you may have already done something on that day that triggered another event. That's what I learned finishing this update, by getting stuck in tons of events.

- But anyway, probably you did, but your Alex needs to be wearing the swimsuit first, otherwise, do something else and try the event later.

Thanks for the advice, but I have tried this and the entry has been there for a long time. I remember triggering the event early on before I had the 20 courage but obviously could not continue with it.

Things like this happen a lot in this game.

It's quite buggy. It's completely normal here for the quest log to keep suggesting things you can't actually do.

There are a couple of quests that don't close unless Alex performs a sexual act, these are Highway with a trucker and a blowjob after basketball, although they don't matter for the plot, the quests will hang, which is unpleasant.

Just so everyone is aware, the "next update" in June (which will be v1.0 on Steam) old saves will not work, so whatever you do in this update is moot since you will need to restart when v1.0 launches in June.
