The quest log has been eliminated. Instead, open the relationships screen and click on a character to see how to advance their part of the story. Clicking on Alex gives the quests that are not related to a specific character.

It's a bug, that there's a phone signal in the motel. So one has to avoid to call Ruby from there for a hot night.

Activate the console (for instance with Unren.bat option #3), press Shift+O ingame and type in car_place=1 and hit enter. This should reset the car to the courtyard outside your house...

How did you do this? Are you playing an old version? The bug with Ruby has been fixed a long time ago. Though it could happen with the new Red Quarter party-event again.
