With regards to the MAC version, I downloaded the MAC version from the OP (0.81.1), removed the game folder and added the game folder from the compressed Win version (0.82.1) and uploaded it.
This is the person that posted the newest version on F95 and no Mac version was included

Hard to say without a save what's the actual problem (looks like you're wearing the evening dress, but don't know how you accomplished that). Have you tried setting different clothes in the wardrobe? If that doesn't work activate the console (for instance with the Unren.bat option #3), press Shift+O ingame and run the following command:
cloth=1
Your writing skill is too high. I think the maximum you should set it is 13 (currently you can only get to 10 in game).

Hmm, after you changed in the "Dressing room" of the gym and you try to work out, Alex says, she needs some sneakers, this unlocks a new talking option for Fred "Where can I buy sneakers?" which unlocks the SportHero store in the mall... (I think that's the fastest option, you don't need Penelope for this one...)

Hmm, there's not much content in the update:
The red light district is unlocked once you see an event on the Busstop (you need to have at least 11 courage, the event itself happens between 11pm-6am)
Have you checked the studio (palm beach) between 11pm-5am?
