Broken Promises - Chapter 4 Status Report #18 
Hey guys, how’s it going?
Getting straight to the point today, so this might be a shorter status report. Chapter 4 is fully rendered, and damn, it feels so good to finally say that.
The base for code is also done, though there’s still more work to do there, as well as with the animations, which we’ve been working on for a while now.
We’ve passed the 4k mark in static renders, which is great since it’s our highest count so far, but we’re still not giving an estimate on how many renders/animations this chapter will have yet, since now we’re starting to polish the renders, fit everything together, and test the new chapter, and during that stage, new renders often get added, and sometimes a few are removed.
A point to mention too, we had a scare on the earlier days of September, when I (K) found out that my GPU started to sag, never had this situation happen before, it can't be reverted however I bought a GPU support mount. So GPU is fine for now. it's been a month since then haven't experienced any issues with the GPU. If this was delayed any longer welp the entire rig would've been wrecked. We'll also be looking into getting new music and sfx for this chapter. We already commissioned a few tracks a couple of months ago, but there are still some scenes that could use some new sfx and background music.
Our next dev log should be the final one, where we’ll present the full changelog for Chapter 4.
