Then I’m sorry — I just wanted to ask because it doesn’t work for me. But looking at what BT-7274-LUST and toorawdan wrote below, they’re having the same issue as I am. So it does seem like something might not be working. I’m not familiar with this stuff, so I wanted to ask at the source and from someone who knows what they’re doing.

"Cop goes undercover... But everyone knows who he is and he's more surprised by who doesn't know he's undercover and makes no attempt to hide his identity. Also has to go undercover around people who know who he is and the only change in his appearance since they've known him is he no longer has frosted tips but they somehow don't know him."

There's so much wrong with this I don't know where to begin. There are only three people in the story that he HASN'T met before and more characters are revealed to the player than MC finds anything out. I half expect the syndicate to just start lounging in his house. Why he has a phone Grace can contact him? Because he's stupid. Why he's continuing the mission when everyone knows him? Because he's stupid. How everyone is somehow personally connected to everyone else? Because it's contrived. Never mind the constant "as you know" dialogue and "twists" that are just "we didn't tell you, the player, about this before but now we are to have a twist."

And, since the writing is so bad the random lines where the English just dies add to my frustration. I was willing to give this the benefit of the doubt in the beginning, but all the issues just pile up and I cannot take it.

Well to start off with the obvious questions... We will go with them as they follow. Firstly he has not had any connection with Grace over the years. She got his phone number from the mother of Kylie the moment she transfered back from Sweden. It was hinted in the conversation they had when in the lobby on the Florentino lawfirm downtown were Grace, Kylie and her mother. She said to Grace like "I hope you are happy that I gave you MC's number? And Grace says "Yeah I am"... while Kylie is listening in their conversation hiding the fact that she knows him or that they are getting close. That is besides the point though. Grace was never in game my priority to begin with. She was already too deep in her own life shit for the MC to have any meaningful relationship with her. On the topic why everyone knows him... well it is kind of given, given the fact that he is going to infiltrate the high life society. He is not absolutely foreign to them but he is not part of them like born into them. Just his parents were on the right place at the right time mainly because of the John Wick (Liam) father he has.One of the Families knows him cause he was close to them since childhood thanks to his parents - the Florentinos. They practically raised him and gave him the life he has. The rest of his connections are circumstantional. Grace is a child of MC's like foster family that knows MC's family because it was Grace that helped raising MC when younger since his Mom was working and his dad was off the picture doing his own shady illegal stuff. The rest are childhood friends and connections. The ones not knowing who MC is practically those outside that circle besides Tiana that is his police chief and a couple of close colleagues like Pancho rhat leads the SWAT team and the hot Latina uniform girl that has the hots for the MC as well. Everybody else is a outsider to him personally and not knowing the origins or the truth about him. How the rest are connected is another matter all together. About the fact why he desides to do the undercover job he hinted it in the conversation he had with Kylie on the roof. First he is an outsider and a nobody, and no one else will do the job since it dangerous enough going after the Syndicate like that. To the elites besides the Florentinos that had partially adopted the MC on the side but not on paper, taking care and providing for him financially was something that Gabriel Florentino promised to MC's dad Liam long ago cause he owns him his life or some shit. Which is somewhat logical in their world considering they swim in money. Giving money for apartment and some cash for expenses to the MC is the bare minimum they could do and they did, the Florentinos I mean. The rest of the city elites are not invovlved at all with him directly. Everything is based on how MC interracts with them down the road. For instance I don't want to have anything in common with the Russian family with the model chick and stuff. The same goes for Alice's family with the pharmaceutical company and business. The only ones being reliable are the Florentinos since they have the closest ties to the MC since his childhood. Getting with one of the twin sisters (or both of them hehe) is a sure way to go to the top with a beauty by your side and people that consider you one of their own and somewhat maintaining your cover. The rest... are just a bad bet for me and not worth risking getting too close to them. And last but not least how is everyone connected to everyone else... well that is the high life society for you. They ate connected and theily know each other. Faced with the constant struggle to keep their power at the top of the food chain they cooperate behind the scenes in between themselves to maintain the ballance of power spread somewhat equally, so that they don't get pushed out by other outside factors or some shit. That is why we saw the Florentinos cooperating with the other red-haired woman that is close to the model chick when Tes Florentino was having a meeting with her concerning Brianna's company that the model chick should inherit from her dead parents. It is complicated and dangerously close but not stupid. Being in the same pool as the elites in general always is. It's the name of the game.

Well not a fan of the "wall text" myself but seeing people that are not following correctly what was said in game is frustrating. The dev has covered his bases somewhat storywise. I just pointed out the points of the defense where the critic about the game is misplaced and fails in my eyes.

Point taken. I am just on the job multitasking and not paying much attention to it from my phone and shit. The auto correct is messing my typo as well. It is better from the keyboard in front of a computer, but when on the move is a risk. Sorry about the mess. Hope it is still somewhat readable though.

I like the quote on your signature ! I wish more people understood that and that is the reason we play AVNs like this one in this thread. Instead people are complaining about how un-realistic the undercover operation of MC is and how everybody knows him, etc.

That's a frustrating game (and not just with the LIs).
I really would like to continue it - thanks to its beautiful models and the general cool vibe - but gosh the plot is absolutely awful. The undercover cop everyone knows. Half the precinct knows (surely no corrupt cops in it). He's supposed to take down the most dangerous gang ever and has absolutely zero strategy. He goes on a almost daily basis to the police chief's flat which surely isn't watched by any bad guy. Absolutely zero safety security protocol to pass on informations one way or the other. Instead of actually working on his investigation and be ready to do whatever it takes to go deeper, he spends all his time with hot girls who know him from the past, learning nothing about his case. Alice Fleur? I hope MC will be able to date her just to infiltrate the syndicate when we'll learn that the hot detective in the intro slept with the son of the syndicate's boss years ago. Or at least date the asian girl who owns the club and deals drugs. MC, focus on your job, FFS!! And the ages seems off: the childhood friend who has a 7 year old daughter but still had time to complete her studies and be a successful lawyer in Sweden? The twins with one working the other still at uni? Weird.
All that might be too dumb for me to continue, sadly. But it's a shame, it could have been great if it was more like a gentler "the departed". I know it's a porn game, but still, it hurts my common sense...
Technically some weird transitions sometimes, it feels like some scenes are missing. Maybe add an icon somewhere to tell "that's a still image, click on" or "don't touch, it's a long transition".

yeah I admit that the game has some problems here and there and they can be fixed

but to me the broken promises more than just a porn game

the way I look at it is that he doesn't want to go and hang out and do these college things but he has to build a reputation

be seen partying with people but he doesn't really enjoy that kind of stuff

but yeah you're right the game needs to improve with how he passes information and hides his identity

I'm sure as the game goes on he's going to do much more detective work

but he also can't be too eager and make it obvious or he's going to get caught
