Also does anyone else feels lately that devs are "pumping up" their render numbers ? I dont know how to explain it my english are pretty bad, what i mean is that few years ago we had whole games (or seasons of them) with like 6000-7000 renders but now we have single updates with almost the same amount of renders where nothing really happens.
that is mainly because a simple scene like mc dressing up has ~30 extra unnecessary renders that add nothing of value and most players just quickly skip through those scenes anyway. i can also say that if you want to see a even worse offender in terms of inflating the render count there is another vn with heat in the name where it sometimes takes like 20 clicks just to get through a 2 sentence conversation between the mc and a girl.

One way to fight with it is actually using the character sprites approach. You do character sprites with many emotions and only use full renders on important scenes. Not many games use this.

Ngl the game was getting kinda boring for a good while, but the whole club part near the end was 10/10 and saved the game for me. Girls, tension, lewds, drama, fighting... like damn that was great. That part was more enjoyable than most of the game combined. Keep doin what you were doin there dev.

All jokes aside, bottom lines is, the dev always has the last word when it comes to deciding what's considered valuable feedback and what's not. If they don't want to take into account what you say, it's their choice to make... can't do anything to change that except respect their decision, wish them the best and move on.

A lot of posts going into detail about their likes or dislikes
There's absolutely nothing wrong with most of that, but imagine reading comments say not a single one of the female characters in this game is attractive... damn son, some extravagantly high standards right there.:ROFLMAO::KEK:

Think I remember Knight (the dev) say how much these characters mean to him and how much thought he put into making them... can't help but feel sorry for the man after reading some comments in the thread, where ppl simply shitpost for the heck of it under the excuse that they only try to help the dev out.:cautious:

I'm confused. In the bar, Afina says Rick is her older brother (chapter 3.5).

But in (chapter 4) it's mentioned that the twins are older.

Now I'm curious to know which is actually correct.

I discussed the reason for this on our server the other day; it was also fixed in the latest patch to avoid confusion

but yeah, Ricky is younger than the twins

This game is great* ** ***

*once I ignore MC is undercover
**once I ignore how bad MC is at his job
***once I treat this like school, slice of life VN, and nothing more

But really, sticking to Grace as primary LI, though also enabled all other routes using URM (which might break game for me eventually, but whatever, problem for when it happens).
Not sure I find any of school girls as good fit for MC.

Hope we'll get a chance to stick dick into crazy, because why not.
Vanessa doesn't interest me at all, but I am curious what her status is with the gang (actually capable undercover agent?)

Overall, for all its faults (and its terrible, terrible, terrible undercover agent plot), rework is significant improvement over initial version of the game, which was painfully bad.

That's a big one... I kept the redhead (forgot her name) at the gym at a distance because I didn't want her involvement... But then the MC just turns around and tells her everything anyway. I gave up at that point.

Dude's undercover in a place where half the population knows him. Genius!

EDIT: Also, that's Kylie. Genuinely don't like her, at all.

Yeah, the setup and execution of the story really isn't to my liking.
Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty game, but it fails to grab me and keep my attention.

That's why I made that 3rd point: this is slice of life, school romance VN
It works in that way.
Girls are good looking, there's a good variety of personalities (Brie, Alice, Alfina, Brie's friend whose name I forgot, Grace as single mother, all completely different), and some romance scenes are kind of cute.
Also really good render quality, but I don't care about that too much, have dropped some of (if not the) best looking VNs around because plot was hot garbage. This one is satisfying in its own way.

For undercover agent plot, it's a disaster.
MC is "best agent", yet he's unbelievably stupid so far.

Yeah, you're right, I entirely agree.
I'm no mind reader and can't speak for the dev, but I got the sense while playing that he wanted to create a college AVN but wanted a more interesting hook... The result is a story that works if you look at it backward, but not forward. If you start from it being a college AVN instead of a cop drama, like you say, then it all makes sense. If we had met with the MC on his first day at the university and gotten a summary of what he was doing there, nobody would be batting an eye. But we get to play through that whole setup, which exposed some significant flaws in logic and plot coherence. The whole undercover-thing feels like a retcon to make the core concept more interesting.

That's a frustrating game (and not just with the LIs).
I really would like to continue it - thanks to its beautiful models and the general cool vibe - but gosh the plot is absolutely awful. The undercover cop everyone knows. Half the precinct knows (surely no corrupt cops in it). He's supposed to take down the most dangerous gang ever and has absolutely zero strategy. He goes on a almost daily basis to the police chief's flat which surely isn't watched by any bad guy. Absolutely zero safety security protocol to pass on informations one way or the other. Instead of actually working on his investigation and be ready to do whatever it takes to go deeper, he spends all his time with hot girls who know him from the past, learning nothing about his case. Alice Fleur? I hope MC will be able to date her just to infiltrate the syndicate when we'll learn that the hot detective in the intro slept with the son of the syndicate's boss years ago. Or at least date the asian girl who owns the club and deals drugs. MC, focus on your job, FFS!! And the ages seems off: the childhood friend who has a 7 year old daughter but still had time to complete her studies and be a successful lawyer in Sweden? The twins with one working the other still at uni? Weird.
All that might be too dumb for me to continue, sadly. But it's a shame, it could have been great if it was more like a gentler "the departed". I know it's a porn game, but still, it hurts my common sense...
Technically some weird transitions sometimes, it feels like some scenes are missing. Maybe add an icon somewhere to tell "that's a still image, click on" or "don't touch, it's a long transition".
Well it seems that not paying attention to the story is the quote of the day...
The are several people that are in the know regarding MC's undercover assignment - The police captain for obvious reasons since it was she who approved the covert ops in the first place. There are another two people within the police force that know as well and those are Sanchez which is the SWAT team leader who is conveniently a close friend to the MC and the senior uniform detail chick Felicia if I remember correctly that is also close to him and could potentially be a LI to the MC as well. Withing the force not taking into consideration that there aren't any corrupt elements it as well plus the Zach person who is doing the hacking and teching stuff outside the force, but he is in the know being recruited by the captain and providing tech support to the MC as well since it was implied that the Zach person which we never seen was also some sort pf government employee that has access to decrypting, surveillance and perhaps tapping phones and we all know that these things are done by the NSA or some other agency with similar functions.
Now the people outside the force is another story and they are not that much either and the way they are related to the MC, again conveniently will somewhat protect and perhaps even help out his mission.
The principal of the university knows that MC is there as undercover since he allowed him to be there as a student.
Gabriel Florentino who is a father figure to the MC and his daughter Kylie which is a lawyer and as such she will not spill the beans about the UC assignment since that means tons of legal problems and heat to her lawfirm and she is also LI to the MC.
The most troublesome one outside the force that know the MC's mission is the Vanessa girl that happens to be working for the Syndicate as well. Though she has her own agenda that is somewhat not aligned with the goals of the Syndicate she is a double edged knife. She covered the tracks of the MC several times and could prove an inside asset to the MC or could outright set him up and betray him in the process which she has not done. The moment she helped him and maintained his cover intact means that probably the Syndicate won't belive her if she turns his back on him since the MC can out her as well for helping him sealing his and her fate as well in other words they are both deadmen either way should any of them slip up. She for betraying the Syndicate and him for infiltrating as a UC.
Probably the other person in the know is Liam himself who is MC's biological dad. But I think that he will help from the shadows in order to protect his son. So no much to go on as to about these characters.
About Grace she is said to be 3 or 4 years elder than the MC so that is age gap big enough for her to finish studies, go abroad and work as a lawyer. Many things could happen for a period of 7 - 8 years especially to a woman. By the time the MC finished high school she was almost done with her law studies. After that they did not see each other for minimum 7 or 8 years since Grace's daughter is 7 years old. MC is actually in his late 20's or early 30's while Grace is in her mid 30's atleast.
On the account of the info exchange I can agree. Professionally this is done in paper either with envelopes via mailing or hidden in secret stashes like trash bins or some other shit. Or handed in person but in some low profile motel outside the city or within the city in a certain safe house also called "residency" or simply package transfer on the move while in a crowd or in a public transport while crunched up. There are many ways to give info or progress report of a mission, but not in the precinct and not in your boss's home of that I can agree. Once upon a time I did something like that so I am familiar with the methods. This is probably the only visible weak point of the game. But considering it is a VN it is hard to strive for exellency at this level. Clearly the dev has no people with the "know how" be it acting or former that can advise him accurately on such matters. Either way the game is relatively good. It has a story that is intertwined and fun to play through. It is not a movie so don't sweat it. Some moments are frustrating, but then again almost nothing of the sort has come up even close to the idea that was developed here so I am willing to give it a pass. The last update showed that the MC still maintains his cover though it is pure luck of a sorts for him, with the photo that was handed from Phill to the Chinese dude in the night club when they asked him to look for him. Now the stakes are up and this could turn to be a disaster cause keeping cover like that can go unnoticed only until they start searching actively for him or for info regarding him. Keeping the cover will be only harder from now on. The Syndicate did what is expected after all. They have "unknown" player they took a photo now they gonna start asking questions. Being on the side for the MC is not an option anymore. He either has to start dealing with the drugs to maintain cover or do some other illegal shit to be considered of the radar for as long as he can be.
