Final piece of feedback.Yes, it will be a plot point.
Think - Buckingham Palace. They've only just arrived there. It's supposed to be an old villa, with a backstory I'll hopefully add in the future.

An intro image with your title.
The coloration/looks of the Ren'Py UI (save/load/settings/etc.) The harsh light grey is a bit hard on the eyes and doesn't push the theme of your game.
Between Alarm and Stash, maybe throw in a getting dressed point?
The jumping of the mouse when you click on inventory/quests. I get it is useful, but it may throw people off.
Basement a bit too hidden.
MC's shorts the non finished stripe, or a more detailed pocket would be nice.
I would like Katie's badge to stand out a bit more. Maybe some pant details stand out a bit more.
Text box and names a bit bigger and stand out a bit better.

The Modern Art lacks a pop over text.
Not really a problem, just an observation, Most things have pop over of what they are, but 4 things have actions instead. Bed has sleep, Calendar has look, Computer has use, window has look.
Aesthetically, the dining room ceiling light is way too huge.
To save game size for the future. Don't use MP3 or WAV files, use OPUS

You don't have much yet, but this will make sure you stay small but still great quality.
For images. Keep the PNG on your PC as the originals, but for what you ship out, you might want to use WEBP/WEBM or in the future AVIF/AV1, again you will have to look into it, but it may save you size on what you ship.
