Questions for the people who have been making/updating packs. How are you getting short videos/animations loops to play I've been putting some packs together and cannot get gifs/mp4s to work, I remember seeing somewhere they were being converted into something else as a workaround for renpy but can't find it again or convert them into something else that works. Is there a tool or guide somewhere for this?

Also is there some other way to review/rate packs other then the image tagging tool or posting it here? 4/4 are rated as B+ (I don't trust this) I know I have several tagging mistakes (thanks naked tag) and I think there is some noticeable difference in both quality and quantity within. Not to mention the other tags I may have misused. I would like some input other than that tool or making them publicly available yet.

Finally just looking for extra places to try and find some pics to shore up some packs any sites other than the usual hentai foundry, ex-hentai, R34, and various boorus you could recommend? Thank you for any in advance for any replies.

Google's WebM. Search the thread a bit, converters and general use have been discussed before.

You're probably misunderstanding what the rating is. It's not how good the pack is (pictures and tag appropriateness, which are hard to judge even for a human), it's how comprehensive (the alphabetical rating) and varied (the +/- rating) the tagging is. You can very much mistag a pack into a state where only a lunatic would use it, but abuse the tagging system to get an A+ rating.

I'll note that IMHO a well formed pack is at least 1/3 non-hentai images. For these I use DeviantArt, pintrest, and even Google Images.

For R34 I do use a number of the boorus, but I also use things like pixiv, e-hentai, and imagefap.

As for rating packs, there's really no easy way to rate them numerically to get useful information beyond what the existing rating gives. And this is coming from someone who gave up bothering with the existing rating long ago. That's why I don't mention such ratings when I release packs, because I rarely even check what rating my packs have ended up with.

Several times there has been talk about creating some sort of curation system, a bit like Steam uses. The technical steps needed to set such up are not a huge problem. The real problem is that any sort of curation system would require a massive amount of time and effort from the curators themselves. And getting people willing to put such effort into reviewing packs isn't likely to work out. We're not Steam. We're a niche fan game.

But beyond our current, very limited, rating counter and a massive effort curation system I've yet to see a decent third option for somehow conveying the idea of which packs are better than which other packs.

Try a google search with girl name and animated gif tags, you may also find some websites gathering a lot of animations. If you need conversion to webm try this online converter:

Gotta say this, initially, i was surprised no one has made a Monika (DDLC) pack. (Based on the Google Sheet)

But now, after checking the Entire GS searching and downloading packs for Bonanza Mod, i gotta say, i'm even more surprised by the complete lack of any Danganronpa pack. (At least according to the Google Sheet)

So... i just leave those as recomendations if someone wants to make a pack but don't know who... just saying...

Edit: Also, someone needs to edit the links for 9thunder4 packs, as their mega folder (the ones that are linked) doesn't have most of their packs, while his mediafire folder still have all of them AFAIK.

Nice suggestion, i search some ideas for girlpacks to train my grilpacker skills !

I "work" in Sakura these days ( 14500 images, that takes some time ahah ) and i'm surprised that nobody already make it !

Apparently, we lack proper catgirls (we have a number of the more furry variety, but not much in the way of the classical 'girl with cat ears and tail and not much else' ). Kite suggested a number of candidates

Alright after going through this and starting on the stuff on the main BK forums (tagging guide/discussions, girl creation tips, etc) I think I'm going to try and go through a few suggestions to gather more images for a couple packs and basically go through tagging them again after reading more on it. After that I think I'll put up the one I think is best for review and then make adjustments to all of them and release or if it is awful just keep the rest to myself. I'm not worried about that really. It is an internet forum (for a porn game no less) people can act how they like I won't take it personally. I just think if I'm contributing to a project I would rather do something good then throw a bunch of mediocre stuff into the mix especially all at once and with how much is already in there. (seriously there are like 1k packs it's insane). More a pride in work kind of thing I guess.

I more or less figured just off the packs I had downloaded previously that the ranking system was more about coverage then actual quality I still just feel like looking through the packs I made I had far better coverage on some than others but they all ended up the same rating. That seemed very odd to me I should have explained that better.

This is actually super helpful thank you. Now I just need to test the packs to make sure the animations actually work. I already had several animations but just could not get them to work and knew it was a formatting issue. Another reason I was thinking about working on a pack for Ivy(soulcalibur) or Shepard(Mass Effect) since I know they have a ton of animations. Those would be much later though since I'm basically going to run through the packs I have again and would most likely be personal projects.

This is actually super helpful thank you. Now I just need to test the packs to make sure the animations actually work. I already had several animations but just could not get them to work and knew it was a formatting issue.

If you have the tagging/naming tool up to date, you should be able to use this for your testing. The code to support animations is identical between the tagging tool and the latest versions of 0.2. So if a given animation plays in the tagging tool, it should be good to go for playing in the game itself. And with the tagging tool it's much easier to trigger specific images/animations on demand.

If this link works, then something is happening with the links as you try to use them out of the document. If this works you can edit the above link to use the Mega folder code from the other links you tried to post on the BK board.
