When did you download the game? Looking at my code and game files I believe I patched this in the Jun 1st Upload :).

As this game is closing to an end (I guess, judging from V0.95), any plans for future projects / games?) Love the game, it is so good to the point I am always
wanting more, lol!
I understand creating a decent good game, takes a lot of time and effort.

There were some RPG games that I assumed were alright , judging from screenshots and reviews but I deleted after giving it at try. Those either had no
gameplay at all or were quite different from the screenshots.

Suddenly I thought of some ideas.
Would you consider:

1) A prelude to this game showing how Bryn met his BF and how she was convinced to do a threesome with his friend
or
2) Next year of school with one or her two friends joining in the story
or
3) Have her mom in the story or a cousin visiting in which an office environment could be added to the story.

Just some random ideas.

BrynsAdventureGame I've always wanted to ask but never had the chance. I'd like to know where you get the AI-generated images from. Because I always think they're blocked for this type of service. Or was it something you developed yourself?

It's not perfect but I've been playing with transforming CGs of Bryn to video. I'm interested in peoples thoughts below in terms of quality.

I can get the videos from 5-10 seconds long, I can maybe stitch some together to get up to 20-30 seconds of content. Sex is difficult to work on, you'll see in the demo attached. But other general CGs seem to work okay. I know the mouth moves a bit in the clips attached, but that will be something I'll try to work out.

But yeah, what do you think? If I include them in the game they won't have any sound, besides the game's sounds playing. But the game size will increase.

*I'm not interested in hearing about Bryn's body features.

I'm fine with Bryn's body features. After playing for a while, I think my initial concerns where the result of a bit of an over-reaction. (I still like the way "old Bryn" looks, though.)

I think the videos look fantastic, and make Bryn come to live even more than the game scenes do.
I would be delighted to have them in the game.
I was also curious that I could not link every scene of the test video to a scene in the game:
1. Bryn taking off the trenchcoat by the seaside (new scene? new mission maybe?)
2. Bryn topless in the library (library mission).
3. Bryn talking while taking off her top (Maybe the Flash 1 mission? maybe Humpr1? Nothing really fits).
4. Bryn in a see-through raincoat, walking through what appears to be a marketplace (nothing fits, so maybe a new mission?)
5. Bryn in a latex outfit, opening her top to reveal her tits (nothing fits here, I would suspect a new Humpr mission as the most likely origin)
6. Bryn opening her trenchcoat, revealing her naked body (could most likely be the landlord scene).

I'm excited to see new content. As far as missions go, I wonder if the variety of options is already depleted, or if the developper still has creative ideas in store.

I'm a bit concerned about the fact that the game seems to crash a lot when loading videos.
Strangely, there doesn't seem to be a bug in the program, the crashes just happen sometimes (albeit the majority of attempts).
I had the game freeze during the video scenes of the School 3 mission, I would say, 3 out of 4 times.

Wow Wow Wow! This is amazingly good to a completely different level! Never expected this.

Game size increasing should be fine. Guilty Hell 2 is 11gb unzipped (completely different game, I know)

From what was highlighted on the patreon,not every scene needs to be a video. Which is correct, I agree with that.
1. Bryn taking off the trenchcoat by the seaside (new scene? new mission maybe?) - Part of an Ending unlock
2. Bryn topless in the library (library mission). Bingo ;)
3. New mission (New mission set, unrevealed, part of Industry district expansion)
4. That was a tester for how weather and rain looked, this was a mission planned for the night life district which is on hold and doesn't exist. All of the missions for this area does exist in terms of writing and what happens. But my focus is on Industrial district.
5. New caught X time scene test for Industrial district (linked to the theme of Superhero missions in the new area which was voted in favour on Patreon)
6. Yes that's where I would be using it to replace the already awful CGs for that.

I have plenty of ideas, going way back. I had around double missions planned and other types of 'mini-games'. I have to pick which ones would go in different districts. Before I lost all my game files a while ago. The Industrial district, Forest Area, Nightlife area, University campus all existed. But lost in updating my OS. But in all fairness, the industrial district I have made now is way better.

Yeah, that's why I stopped with videos for caught scenes. I'll look at a work around or how to fix this. I know RPGM games are hungry games that rely a lot on RAM and CPU processing for some weird reason for a bit pixel game.

I don't mind animations, and you're definitely making more use of gen AI than a handful of CGs. The only thing to really keep in mind is trying to stay below 5 gigs as that seems to be a fairly common download limit before people start needing to mess around with VPN settings.

Only downside is the nipples as i personally prefer the small ones from the previous version, but you've heard that often enough already and it's ultimately up to you what you do with it.

I like the animations, hell, some look like they'd make great animated wallpapers.

I gotta agree about the nipples though, almost like they were supposed to be puffy or torpedo titties but instead are on the small pancake side. But hey, if that's intentional, you do you, I can live with it. This has been a great project and I'm glad you're not discouraged by the haters who bitch without understanding the context. I hope to see you do more projects, either a sequel or a new story.

Damn, great game. Hope for more content/sequel or whatever creator has planned sometime, this is one of the best exhibitionist games out there.

You don't understand the effort and time it took to fix a lot of the images for the old CGs, and I still got flamed for poor graphics and ai slop which is in this thread somewhere, why would I stick with something so tedious to work with. Remember I do this for fun. I have a full time job and personal commitments most evenings and weekends. It made sense to move to a new, smarter generation model, it just increased efficiency and editing.

It's a free game... people need to remember. It's making leaps and bounds compared to others, and I decided not to put it behind a mandatory paywall for 2 minutes of content like other games.
Out of curiosity, what was hard to maintain with the previous AI model? You're probably aware, but most popular AI models have "-inpainting" variants which allow you to regenerate only specific parts of the image, with the same artstyle as the original image. I use that all the time to fix broken fingers etc. First I generate a batch of say 10 images, I pick the best looking one, and then if I don't like a part of the image I regenerate a batch of 10 just for this region. It's a bit awkward for me to ask that question, because you are clearly making impressive AI stuff now (esp. the video part) so I can't think of you not knowing about inpainting but at the same time I also can't think of anything else when you say "it took so much time to fix images for the old CGs". In the rare chance you didn't actually know about inpainting then dm me I'll happily show you more.

As for the "ai slop" part, this is the type of feedback you can straight up ignore, not only in the interest of keeping your sanity but also in the interest of everyone here. Too many times now we have seen developers ragequit from f95 because they were tired of the incredible amount of negativity here. The net result is it ended up making the thread uninteresting and being detrimental to everyone. If it was up to me, exceedingly unconstructive comments like "ai slop" should be reportable when the dev is in the thread, as they are effectively insults. And to be clear, I'm part of the ones who thought "ai slop" at the beginning of the project (I had the decency to not say it though because I'm not an asocial child). In the end you convinced me not because you argued with the "ai slop" crowd but just because you actually kept improving the game and it is now apparent that the artstyle is beautiful even from just the preview pictures. It must be hard as a dev to let this bunch of random, low-post usernames suddenly chime in to spread negativity and blatantly false information about your game but trust me it is the best decision to ignore them and every single dev who has tried to argue against them ended up abandoning. I doubt comments like "ai slop" even impact the visibility of your game negatively, I remember reading comments like this when the game was published and I already thought these people were r*tards even though I myself agreed the game looked too AI back then.

Ahaha thank you for your post, it made me chuckle a bit!
I used to batch it in 4, but there would always be something else wrong in another part of the image at times xD.
I did know about inpainting, but it was never really great, and it would still cost the credits I had for another poor outcome, kind of like a double-blow in the wrong direction. The results would still be random/lucky, and if I edited a hand over blue sky, the shade of the blue sky was then changed. So then I'd have to still do more work in photoshop, selecting around the limbs/fingers and then recolour the background. But the AI model I used was out of date, and the development for it had stopped, meaning there will always be the same chance of missing fingers or misaligned limbs. So that's why I moved to a different-newer AI model as it has had the 'funding/time/research' for it to be better developed first time of prompting.

I know more now to create Bryn with white backgrounds, and the backgrounds separately, this makes it miles easier to add her into scenes of course. But all those old CGs were the early days I like to call them.

I know when i check out a new thread, the first thing i go for are the attached images to see if i like the style (and, in some cases, see how accurate the translation is) and AI CGs make it easy to assume a dev would rely on AI for more than just images. There's people that have ChatGPT write their essays and resumes after all.

So yeah, it's a prejudice i'm trying to get rid of, but here we are.

For artwork, I really don't mind AI. It's a style choice the same as many other options available. It's not about how it was made, but what the end result is and how well it works in the context of the game and story. Does it help illustrate the story well, or is it distracting and irrelevant?

It's been a busy two and a bit weeks with a lot of new CGs created to replace the old ones, please see the graphic above which only covers a very small amount of content that has been created.
Consideration has been in place for missions that will be included in V1.0+ with the 'Offer it out' missions, and 'Superhero' missions. Testing CGs have been created for the 'Parcel/Depot' missions which is still in drafts. These will all take place in the Industry District. Other missions will be added to the original game areas also in V1.0+. Video testing has taken place where there has been a lot of success and some failure, but it's been positive moving forwards with how video usage can impact the CGs in the game. Not all videos created for testing have been perfect, but there's a lot to be gained, simply using stills from the videos will be effective and smarter in generating CGs.

New CGs to replace the old ones have been in the works in waves, such as School 2, and School 3. Photo Booth 1 and 2 (I think the previous live version includes the new CGs for Photo Booth 2 anyway), Caught Home District second event, Caught School District second event. Shower scene (only 1 CG), Hallway Vent tutorial scene (1CG), and Janitor capture. Updated Bryn on the Bodystats menu.
Bald Guy CG is in the works, where Bryn is caught and taken to his house, let me just say, Bald Guy is packing a big one, and yes it's CG'ed already but needs programming.

V0.99 will be around the corner, predicting by end of Quarter 3 this year V1.0. V0.99 will initially be the complete version of the base game, but V1.0 will be any bug fixes. Essentially V1.0 will the a perfect 'bug-free' version of the base game... fingers crossed. No more missions will be added for V1.0.

That's all for now! I have a lot of programming and CG polishing to do which will take some time. It's hard to say when the next version of the game will release, a month maybe?

I can't believe we're so close to v1.0. I also can't believe we're going to have quests in the industrial area. I liked the new cgs.
