That doesn't look like AI at all. It's clearly 3D animation, just not the best one. I honestly don't get what everyone is so surprised about, because to me the quality is roughly in line with how he's always animated. He had a few standout moments, like the way he animates fluids, but overall he's always been pretty mediocre.
Mediocre? Dude, you don't know what a mediocre animation looks like, his animations are actually quite good, wouldn't say they are one of the best but certainly high quality, you want medicore stuff you need to look at some anime creators that use simpler models or some guys that are now good and were crap at the beginning, or the guy that makes animations with those huge monsters, major early SFM vibes in his work, these are what I'd call mediocre animations (stiff animaitons, low to none secondary motion/low fine detail, lack of cumshots/facials/liquid sims/body physics (or very basic ones), janky models, low res, noisy renders, short 2-5 second loops only.
I've just checked the recent Ada one, not sure if it's a WIP, I assume a facial would be added or some kind of cumshot at the end, but so far it looks good, it actually has better facial expressions than the recent Tifa JAV/bukkake scene which was reskinned from the other scene, which is why it looks bit off (seems the animation wasn't readjusted to make Tifa have expressions like Tifa), this looks made for Ada, but some expressions are a bit weird, at the same time quality of it all is quite high, render quality is excellent, retains his old style, model itself looks good, physics are good, LOOK AT DEM FINGERS YALL!!! Looks how beautifully they follow the shaft, bend around it and remain in contact with no clipping, you think there is a plugin that automates that? Maybe some constraints, maybe some clever rig, not sure exactly, what I do now is that shit like this takes time.
Yall so critical of it as if you could do any better and faster, when in truth yall just sad, lonely poor bastards that can't even support hard working artists to make the animations, but sure, proove me wrong, remake that Ada Wong scene, I want you to model the character, rig it, texture it, animate and render, 44 seconds like this one, make it better somehow, make it in 2 weeks (since that seems to be what you think is what it takes to make an animation, just take a model, animate, bam, done, 2 weeks, 1 week, hell, I woulnd't be surprised if some of yall think you can get that quality of animation in few days when you say shit that it's AI when in reality this animation in 99.99% probability does not use any AI for the animation.
