No. AFAIK they are adding some polish and extra content to the latest version of the game so that it can be packed and released on steam as Burning Boundaries Part 1. Part 2 begins after that.

His last updates included upgrades on previous parts, the doctor got bigger boobs so had to change her in every previous appareance.
I guess after including AI for the animation might remake old scenes, I dunno.

If the developer is simply waiting for Steam approval process, then it’s a dick move to withhold the entire update from PAYING Patrons and forcing them to wait for such an arbitrary reason.

I get the wariness.
I mean there's quite a bit of scrutiny around adult games.
dev is probably in wait-and-see mode watching what happens with other creators and stuff like that.
look what happened earlier this year, lots of smut games got delisted everywhere literally overnight. their livelihood disappearing in a second.
smutgamedevs are spooked. rightfully so.
everyone staring at each other western-movie-mode.
steam hurry up for god sake, game is good, numerous people want the season 2

His game is pretty damn safe, all things considered - it were h-games with "ethically dubious" content like rape, mindcontrol, loli, and incest that were targeted across the board.
IIRC the next update is already complete - the dev is just not releasing it until they get Steam's approval.

He did have to change some Tony stuff, but I don't know how much. It was mostly in the BDSM path, I believe.

Double lenght and events of the first part and you'll have a game. Well, maybe I think we already have the end/ending of Part 1 where ntr is possibly revealed at last to the MC with the plane shenanigans. Steam release to fill out and polish up earlier bits.
