I think the issue is mostly bad implementation. So how do we fix the implementation? Well..given most of the AVN's are written by people who have never had a relationshop (I imagine)...it probably isn't going to change. I think both things can be summed up as AVNs are notoriously bad at sensuality. And sensuality is a key element of what makes lesbian scenes hot to most straight men. Whereas with a straight scene, simple seeing a P in V is usually enough to titillate while more is just a bonus, lesbian scenes are like foreplay scenes in that they require sensuality to be hot.
