So a writer can't write a tragic backstory for a character because it says "Hi I'm the author and I am depressed or suicidal or psychotic?" You might have shit in your head instead of a brain, get off the internet man.

Dude, it is so out of character. It's like if a character is talking in a movie and suddenly looks at the camera and says "Jews, amirite?" and then the scene goes on as if it never happened. Not gonna lie, it was so out of left field that I started laughing, but I really doubt that was the author intention.

A writer CAN do anything they won't, but just as you are free to respond to my comment with an intellegent reply, others are free to comment on their work. None of those are porn games though. Porn game devs tend to create within the genres that appeal to their personal interests/kinks, with the hopes others that have the same interests will give it a shot and enjoy it. There's tons of raceplay games on this site. You think its created by people that have no interest in that genre? If GRRM made GoTs into a porn game and played up the incest kink even MORE, you wouldn't question whether the dude had a slight kink for it?

Look, I get what you're saying, and you're ultimately correct that a writer's work doesn't HAVE to seen as a direct reflection of their personal beliefs. But, if I'm playing a porn game and I'm mid fap and then randomly see some racist shit outta no where like a fuckin RKO, that has no relevance to the story AND includes a character that never shown to have those beliefs previously, I'm gonna start the wonder why it was placed there.
