As a trope in a porn game, I suppose the whole Alpha/Beta premise is a reasonable ploy. Better than some, and certainly appealing to particular sections of players.
But you realise right, that in the world of actual human psychology, any such claim of Alphaism is actually classified as projection, usually by those afraid to confront their own innate insecurities, or just immature hormonal imbalances at work...?
It's odd how widespread that alpha/beta/etc.. idea of evolutionary psychology is, without people knowing where it's from or how inaccurate it is (not even true of chimps, where over-aggressive males sometimes have their balls bitten off by groups of angered females)
