You are right. I never "followed" the previous game, mainly 'cos I never knew it existed until this one came out.
And I can believe what you say about delays too.
But if he has always let "the community" write his plotlines by poll, it's little wonder they are both gonna start well, then end up as just a mess.
And yeah, what a great strategy for bilking patreons along the way...... just insert a few 3-4 month delays (from poll start to completed script and renders)
