So this does not turn into pages of useless guesses. I'll just say:
look at the 1st part of the game.

BURNING BOUNDARIES – WALKTHROUGH MOD

I have written an in-depth walkthrough mod for Burning Boundaries. I originally started this about a year ago and it was intended for my use only, but I have decided to release it anyway in case anyone else was interested.



(NOTE: This has had substantial changes made to the script file so existing saves WILL NOT WORK, you will need to start a new game).

A best option for some of the decisions will change based on current relationship status’ and previous choices made, therefore additional code had to be added to handle this when giving hints.

This was based on the Scrappy mod but has been completely reworked.

- Reworked all existing walkthrough hints to make them more intuitive

Hints highlighted in Green will give or lead to an increase in relationship points

Hints highlighted in Red will give or lead to a decrease in relationship points

(Remember Red doesn’t mean bad, we sometimes want negative scores for some paths)

Hints highlighted in Orange will give or lead to an increase in relationship points for one character and a decrease for another

Hints highlighted in Blue won't affect points but are suggested as they either lead to more content or open some additional paths

Note, that the value for Tony Rampage is read-only. There a several checks against this value within the game where it needs to equal a certain number otherwise scenes will get skipped and some other variables may not get set, which would cause issues further down the line.

- Added an option to toggle the walkthrough on/off, for those wanting to do a blind run. This can be found on the above Cheats menu. This will be disabled by default when you start a new game.



As usual just drop the contents of the zip files into your game folder

It has been thoroughly tested, but due to the sheer number of routes etc. I might have missed something, so if you have any issues please let me know and I'll try to issue a fix ASAP.

Edit: 02/08/25 - Fixed a bug where if you chose to Deride Sasha with the walkthrough switched on it would jump to the wrong scene.

Currently appears to be an issue with downloads from F95, so I've added a Mega link here as an alternative.

I can't guarantee that future saves created with the mod would work without it in future, it would depend on which point in the game you made the save.

However, there is only one more update planned for this season, season 2 will be a separate game. And I will make sure the mod is updated to handle that.

Genuinely curious about the questions below. It is not an attempt to start an argument or sound unappreciative to someones work.

If AI is writing the script (from reading previous posts this seems to be the case) and AI is used to make the images (from the tags) than how difficult is it to make the game? I understand you need to input things for the AI to function but is the AI not doing the overwhelming majority of the work? Am I missing something?

I am not claiming I could make a game or that I possess the knowledge to do a better job. Nor am I trying to say the dev is (insert word here) but curious to understand.

Maybe dev wants to be more specific but understood that AI was writing the scripts, not the script. So using AI to do the coding but AI isn't writing the story. Even if it was for the story they would need to write quite a bit of specific prompting after training the AI.

And then as you will note in posts above, getting AI to generate a good video scene is still quite a bit of work but maybe less on the whole.

I'd guess based on other fields using AI responsibly that it is significantly (as in maybe 30% +/-) reducing his time commitment for an equal amount of work but not eliminating it or even doing the majority.

As long as a person keeps checking the AI output no reason it needs to be bad. The bad AI examples are from humans not proofing AI output (or not caring when about AI artifacts and errors)

The "weird bird" is a pelican. Seriously I don't know t4bbo's mind on this (who does? he's devious is all I know, lol)
But if it is symbolism, perhaps you could educate yourself on the habits of pelicans.....they are actually capable of a lot of things (nasty) with that huge bill.
