You are right, a developer with working wouldn't do such a thing but then again this developer doesn't seem very smart. What's more, he had to know that not everyone would have been tech savvy enough to confidently check for miners.
Not all developers, just this one apparently. Even Boda of Tower of Trample is not this big of an idiot when it comes to dealing with their potential customer base.

Hey don't worry, when i first saw the post about me on twitter i insta blocked, i'm not a kid to fight on the internet, plus i know the miner is fake, he is trying to say theres a miner just to get his game removed from here, everything i download from everywhere i use kasperky and virustotal to see if theres some kind of virus, and his game is clean.
And for all the devs out there, don't be this guy, this only ruins your career, doing what he is doing only makes people to support less, he easily could send me a PM on twitter and said something about this thread, or asked to work together and get a good animator to help him, instead, he tried creating a drama on twitter.
also, when someone get my animation/drawings and post somewhere i didn't post, makes me so happy, the guy liked so much my stuff that he posted where i didn't, and thats literally a free publicity for the creator, if you'r subs are leaving, it's not because of leaks, it's because you're doing a poor job of delivering content for them.
anyway, if you're reading this thread Ballsdeepweeb, i wish you the best, and stop trying to create drama over twitter or anywhere, people that follows NSFW creators want to see porn not shity drama...

Basically, a summary.
So we get the game's demo, it's free, it's uploaded here, big whoop.
Our buddy Cansado makes note of the heavy load on CPU/GPU, making a joke that it probably is mining bitcoin.
Turns out, not a big suprise if you know the guy's antics, BDW is upset by this comment, since apparently, Cansado wanted to work for the guy. BDW took this slight personally, and proceeded to either bait or just ignorantly boast that the game is mining Etherium.
After some discussion of it, who else showed up in the thread but BDW? Cue the malding...
And now, we're where we stand today.
It's a rough summary, but it's the basics through and through.

A mix of stupidity on our side and sadness on his. He's been complaining about being under 200€ on patreon, to wich one can only wonder what could be the cause of it.
In all fairness, the tech behind it looks good and the art is solid, but they guy seems to be quite the entitled asshole.

I wouldn't mind a new demo getting uploaded here to see how far he's progressed since way-back-when. As much of an ass as he is, like you said, the art is passable and the tech seems to be pretty decent. I just wish he was a nicer person to go with it. Then again, I guess not everyone's a nice person behind the gold curtain.
